@nico In looking for info on the above series, I did consistently see recommendations instead for Everyone Else is a Returnee, a Korean light novel that appears to be rather well-liked.
-
@nico
LNDB isn't actually much better than MAL. It certainly has more information regarding the entries, but it's run entirely by users submitting stuff. Honestly, I've half-abandoned it because the admin is the only one that can fix big screw ups and he's pretty much MIA. -
This sounds like it was made for me!
"Summoner 's Death Game In a different world, I ignored Princess Heroine and I kissed a Female Knight! (召喚軍師のデスゲーム 異世界で、ヒロイン王女を無視して女騎士にキスした俺は)"
Stay losing forced lead heroine!
(... it's unfortunate the female knight is a blonde haired "main character" looking character though).

how about tsuyokute new saga by alphapolis....the lost known translation is basically stopped months ago, and the story is pretty good too...
-
EDIT: I did it again, I mixed up two different series >_< nevermind, I'm not following Tsuyokute New Saga D:
-

Volume 9 released in November according to Bookwalker.
Edit: I'm an idiot for ignoring you're both talking about updated fanslations, not the updated JP language novels.
-
@terrence They’re talking about the fan translations, not the Japanese releases. It seems no one is translating it anymore.

I know this is wrong the place to ask about this issue,i'm sure Ao oni and Yume nikki were supposed to come out on 21 and 26 of december, but they've been postponed for an unknown date, anyone know why?

I'm curious too. Some of the few LNs I want to buy the premium versions to support (to send a message I want more horror / mystery, though I also hope it doesn't send the "I want game adaptation novels that just retell events from the game" novels...).

@pantiesraider the ebook contracts were up in the air for a long time, but they look to be done now.
-
@rahul-balaggan That's what justus told me on his recent light novel weekly review, but i gotta thank you for the official release dates
-
Another title i would love to see is the Kamisu Reina series, one of my most memorable psychological thriller novel that sends chills down my spine whenever i remember it,and it's only two volumes(Kamisu Reina is here/Kamisu Reina disperses here)
-
@pantiesraider
OHH, Another Kamisu Reina fan. I already own the Japanese version, but I would definitely buy it if it ever got licensed. -
I was looking at the Requiem for the Phantom novelizations, and the suggestions for people who liked that, and stumbled on this.
ゾアハンター
(Zoa Hunter).
Looks interesting. It's got 7 volumes and is complete afaik.
-
@terrence Not much to go on, but the cover looks good. Did you see a story synopsis?

Sounds like humans are bred to be like one of those extremophile creatures that survive extreme temps to solve the overpopulation problem.
"The deterioration of the living environment due to population increase, meaning the crisis of survival. In order to avoid this, a highly secret project - "Azael plan" will be invoked that builds new human beings that can survive even in environments unsuitable for survival by raising the ability of human beings adapt to the environment. However, due to the human genome interference by the virus, the result was the creatures / zones of human eating ("Thanks Google Translate... Guessing Zombies are created? Or a monster named Zone eats the people? Idk?")
(Some character background for the MC)
"
Since I found it inbetween Requiem for the Phantom (Requiem of Inferno) and Blassereiter... I have certain ideas about what kind of drama it'll have. But who knows.

Any interests in "Chihou Kishi Hans no Junan"
Here's a link to the RAW. You can sample 3 chapters of all 7 volumes (and the full volume if you have an account on the site).
alphapolis -
Oooh.
I read the manga, wasn't aware it was a LN too. Hans would be awesome. :)
