@hopebestman Blue robes are the children of nobles, but they aren't necessarily nobles themselves. Being a noble is a sign that you went to the Academy in the Sovereignty, which isn't something everyone that has mana does. A lot of the ones whose existence is "problematic" in some way (say, children of a concubine who have more mana than the main wife's children) or who are more than their parents' wealth can handle are, from what we can tell, shipped off to the Temple. After all, a lot of the younger blue priests and shrine maidens were taken back to noble society to receive a noble education due to the lack of mana.

My grasp on sanity remains absolute.

Oh, right, the poison, the poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen especially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco's poison. ...That poison?

@thegrimlich but the thing is after purge lots of blue robes went back home. That means they were living as nobles before joining temple and sort. For example Shikza, he has his wand so he went to academy. His father head of the house and his mother cares him much. We read his story on later books but he had to go to temple. So i think there must be blue robes similar to Shikza. Also there are some blue robes comes and goes from noble district. Which they dont stay in temple. So why FF was so shocked. I can give more reasons that, there must be some blue robes which has wands.

@hopebestman Again, it's actually been heavily implied that blue robes in general aren't proper nobles; if they were, then there would have been no reason for Ferdinand to seal away his books on magic (which only Actual Nobles™ are allowed to read) in his secret room. Just because a blue robe has family who are nobles and is allowed to use their family's estate doesn't mean they're nobles themselves.

My grasp on sanity remains absolute.

@hopebestman No. Blue robes were not nobles. They did not attend the Academy. They have no wands. Some went back home and stopped being priests, and attended the Academy and now have wands...

But the days of peace did not last long. The political war came to a close and a mass purging was carried out, dramatically decreasing the number of nobles. To bolster their numbers, kids young enough to attend the Royal Academy were summoned home, then shrine maidens young enough to get married were similarly summoned home. Eventually there was an order to send any and all priests and shrine maidens with significant mana to the Sovereignty’s temple. Ehrenfest’s temple now lacked any blue shrine maidens or blue priests young enough to be called home. All that remained were blue priests so weak in mana that the Sovereignty’s temple didn’t want them.

Shikza is one of those - send to the temple, pulled out of the temple and sent to the Academy, and then joined the knights.

My talking sword has a point. And is also right.

                        @hopebestman yes

I should add if it is something huge, a spoiler would be a courtesy, but not something I would edit with a tag.

Hi there, i have another question.

When Myne creates a manablade for Angelica, the blade gets Ferdinand's voice and personality. Which manablade says

“Lady Rozemyne’s wishes were not the only cause of my existence, however— it was also due to your mana coursing through me, Lord Ferdinand,”

How does it has Ferdinand's mana? Why Ferdi's mana inside Myne's? What happened when he was playi... I mean acting as doctor.

P3V4: “At that, Ferdinand picked up Angelica’s sword and gave it a firm look over, pouring in a little bit of mana himself to determine what influence my own was having on it.”

The sword has Ferdie’s mana because he gives it during his investigation. Nothing to do with Myne, all she supplied was her own mana and the mental image of Ferdie.

This is my first time waiting for a new volume.
What I got from what you linked was:

                                  1. Bookworm usually doesn't skip weeks.
                                  2. A book doesn't get put on the schedule until the first part is available.

This leaves me hopefully optimistic that we will get a release at 6pm like usual.

Can anyone who has been through this before confirm my analysis?

Yeah I somehow feel that I have a better understanding of how an addict waiting to get his fix feels.

But we better not take this metaphor too far, since Quof might not like being compared to a drug dealer...

@alorand sorry, but j-novel already does what some dealers do. Look at the prepubs. Every one of them has the first hit is free, if you want another hit, you gotta pay.

Morning and Mourning sound alike for good and sufficient reasons.
