Light novel suggestion

Oh man, I second Campione! so much. Would love to see an official translation of that series.

My brother suggests High School DxD, Date A Live, Campione, and Biblia Used Bookstore Casebook, though I think some are Kadokawa, so unlikely.
They all are, except Campione! which is Shueisha.
-
If we're talking Shueisha (which will probably be the hardest company to license from) then we need the light novels for the shonen jump manga already being translated in America.
Shokugeki no Soma
Black CloverThe thing about Black Clover is that the storyline in the Black Clover Light Novel is directly involved with the current arc of the manga.
So I am just here reading the manga with no background knowledge of what the hell happened before twe got to this point.
Viz media should have translated the Light Novel it's pretty much a slap in the face to fans outside of Japan. Like what are we suppose to do at that point...just pirate it. Which I really would rather not do!
-
I want mentioned these in the main thread, but I'd like Shakugan no Shana, Dantalian, GOSICK, Shigofumi, Beautiful Bones and Lost Universe. The last of which is uber important to me.
Lost Universe is so special to me that I'd be happy to spend $150 on extras. -
Add some ROM-COM title/s without scifi or supernatural occurrence!
-
@Phil99 I'd enjoy that too
-
@Dark-Star-Key You know I translated the subs for the DVDs of Shigofumi's anime. It's a shortish series I'd love to release personally.
-
I'd second the general ROMCOM requests, though less comedy and more drama would also be appreciated. Maybe the White Album 2 light novel adaptation? Furthermore I would like to add „ Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de aru “, the single-novel prequel to Yuuki Yuuna. Albeit that's licensed by Kadokawa, so it's rather unlikely.

We need this! Does it conclude the story like the visual novel, or leave off unresolved like the anime?
I'm still hoping some crazy company brings over the visual novels (though, that company may have to be Atlus / Sega who brought over Tears to Tiara and are bringing Utawaremuruno games, which seems unlikely).
I could definitely use more drama / triangles in my life like White Album 2.
-
Now for even more obscure suggestions. I'd love to see Satoru Akahori's ancient Saber Marionette J novels and absolutely any based on Tatsunoko series, if they even exist.
-
@Terrence I actually do not know first-hand if it resolves anything, but I recall someone saying so on a discussion thread about the anime. Also, I would hope that 6 light novels are enough to get to a resolution.
-
May I suggest World Teacher or Lazy Dungeon Master ? :) Would love it if J-Novel licensed them
-

@Ryan-Monahan Youjo senki and Alderamin are beautiful choices, I hope ANYONE licenses them
-
Well, when you cooperate with seven seas, they maybe have rights for LN Mushoku Tensei and Akashic Records of the Bastard Magical Instructor, because they release a manga. In case of Akahashic Records I will be truly happy to see it translated.

I second that. Alderamin would be really amazing I saw the anime and wanted to read all of it but sadly only Volume 1 is completely translated and all the other volumes just partial I think.
-
@xNovacaine mm, I'm in the same situation!
-
An additional suggestion would be "The New Gate". It would fit in the current "novel-style" because almost every novel you guys licensed is about Game/Alternate (Game) reality
-
May be you can do "I said makes my abilities average" (http://www.es-novel.jp/booktitle/24heikinchi.php) or "ascendance of bookworm" (http://www.novelupdates.com/series/ascendance-of-a-bookworm/). Both listed as shoujou but I think it can be enjoyed by male reader too. I've read fan translated version of both novel, it was good read and it can serve a breather from usual harem novel here.
ps. sorry for horrible grammar.. -
@doctor3027 I concur, I also find Shinka no Mi a good read. I'd also undoubtedly buy the volumes if they're released here. For some reason I find the MC rather refreshing after so many template heroes with an overly pronounced bath, food, woman and Japanese culture fetish... though Shinka no Mi's MC does have an inclination for constant self-tsukkomi...
