Anyone else's Epub text randomly centering?
-
In some epubs, text is being centered randomly. This only seems to affect various chapters.
This seems to affect some series while reading it on Moon+ Reader. Uploading it to Google Play Books doesn't seem to cause any issues.
-
Do you remember a specific part where this happened? Could it be that your font is missing some character like ♫, causing a gap which makes it appear like the text were centered?
-
@Jaquobus Yeah, that sounds if anything like a bug in Moon+ Reader.
Our epubs don't specify a justification for normal text (leaves it to the device settings), and uses basic CSS for centering of titles and section markings. -

@Village-Idiot Thanks for the info, I will see if that corresponds to something (like, those are the only chapters that use a certain CSS class, etc).
Can I ask for some more details? Like for example, in Realist Chapter 1, is the entire chapter centered or just before or after one of the 2 insert images? -
@Sam-Pinansky The Prologue is fine, and as soon as it gets to Chapter 1, the text is all centered. After the image of Lisica on the horse and Souma's @_@ image, its still centered. The text doesn't de-center until Intermission 1, and the text is fine until Chapter 5.

@Village-Idiot Just to follow up here: I have absolutely no clue what could possibly be causing this. The parts that are centered vs. not centered are all exactly the same, with the same stylesheet and html.
I blame fairies.

Its okay, its not a big deal.
Thanks for looking into it.
