i can't buy how a realist hero rebuilt the kingdom series on kindle, is it region locked or something?

@areishia When looking at Realist Hero on amazon.com, I get the option to 1-click buy every volume (for the kindle), so at least it hasn't been taken down.

Is there a list of all effected titles on amazon and not just j novel titles but all light novels and manga? A few series i read is showing new titles on kindle but are listed as unavailable and wont let me open the page. Allso a series on my wosh list just vanished. The two unavailable listings are didint i say to make my abilitys average 14,15 and monster girl dr 9. And the series that just vanished is why cant a demon lord find happyness. Any help would be nice. Im low income and after saving for some time i finaly got a kindle a few months before amazon started book burning and at this point im thinking about how to remove the drm and switch platforms.

@apairon amazon has been doing this for years.
Oreimo, eromanga sensei, gigante, etc. All pulled. Basically, internally at amazon light novels are all classified as children's books, regardless of content. So when some Karen reports something, it gets autoyanked.

@apairon If you meant Why Shouldn’t a Detestable Demon Lord Fall in Love?! it's no surprise it vanished as it is(was) a Sol Press title, they lost all their licenses when they went belly-up so their titles got dropped from everywhere...

@apairon Abilities average 14 and 15 have yet to receive "early digital" release dates, so those entries will have been tentative in any case. Volume 14 is set to release in October, so I'd expect the problem to be sorted by late August/early September at the latest, since early digital usually releases at least one month before the print release.

Ty for the help. I think i will try and move away from amazon as soon as i am able. I know how j novel works but how does other companys handle e books and drm? I realy love my oasis 3 minus there new layout so im hoping i can continue using it as its only 2 years old. Whonis the best retailer to buy from?

@apairon If you want safety from the ebook store pulling titles, then Bookwalker is the safest since it's owned by Kadokawa itself. However, you're locked into their e-reader and and their reader app is really restrictive.
Google Books have yet to pull any series, but they don't have a dedicated e-ink e-reader like Kindle and Kobo. The Google Book e-reader app is also generally behind Kindle / Kobo. I've also never seen any LN titles go on sale on Google Books before.
Kobo had pulled No Game No Life and Highschool DXD during Amazon's LN removal spree, but they put them back up after a few months. Kobo is generally the best one if you want to just buy and read without going through manual DRM removal.

All the Ascendance of a Bookworm's manga volumes are not available.

Bookworm is one of the more wholesome manga titles out there.....................................

@starkadder For the manga I see Part 1 Vol 6 is pointing at an invalid listing, but as far as I can tell from a random check the other listing are up and purchasable for kindle.

Which region/country are you searching on? I checked Amazon US, JP, and FR, and I was able to search for Bookworm manga volumes just fine, and they all were available for purchase. This might affect only a specific region.

You'll are right, it is available, but Amazon also shows the above quote for the same titles when searched for. Seems like Amazon might have some dead pages that come up.

@village-idiot how good are kobos e readers and do they currently have titles that are removed from there store? I just got my oasis 3 and was loving it before amazon whent all book burning and then the update last year has killed it. I have 300 odd books im gunna half to strip drm from and i dont have a pc to do it on to boot. Kindle used to be such a amazing place.

@apairon Kobo had removed No Game No Life and Highschool DXD, but they put it back up after a few months.
I'm not aware of any other titles that had been removed since then because I buy from Google Books.
Kindle is faster than Kobo, which is most notable when reading manga, but Kobo can read epubs natively so you don't need to use Calibre to convert to .mobi format.

Just went to preorder my Chillin light novel on Amazon/Kindle and most everything there is missing. Is Amazon back to its old tricks again?

EDIT: Okay, we have already been working on it. The missing books are supposed to be going back up at some point, but we don't have any hard ETA.
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

I just rechecked Chillin to see if it was available. Still no joy. Guess Amazon is going to take a while to get this fixed.
