Definitely. The WN fantranslation stopped very early in but what little was done was enough to get hooked.

@kurosov I tried using deepl to machine translate chapters to read myself and made it some way in but it was tedious to do and started having more and more errors. I got told from someone that it can only handle small parts at a time even though it allows 5k at once. Anyways it was really good even with being machine translated. Would be great to see it licensed so much.

Happen to know how well the series is doing in Japan? Like is it popular enough to improves chances of it getting licensed for english?

Well, it's gotten several reprints per volume from my memory, and it's advertised fairly well, so I'd assume sales are pretty decent, so I'm hopeful.

I've read the WN translations and the manga, but there's quite a share of differences that it makes me wonder if the manga is doing its own thing, or if these changes were made in the LN. For example:

The forum software here at J-Novel will only handle one spoiler per post...which is a problem when 2 or more posts get combined due to proximity and they've all got spoilers.
Since you mention a double post and it's now viewable as one post, I'd say that's the problem right there.
It does sound like it could be a fun read.

@danteus Ya I like the dragon stuff better in the web novel. Though I really want to just be able to read the series proper period.
-
@heimdal7 Yeah, I think it works a lot better, which is why I wanted to know if the differences in the manga are entirely original, or if they were adapted from the LN, which was written differently from the WN.
I'm hoping these developments are manga original, and for the LN to be closer to the WN. -

Well, the novel is closer to the manga than what you described of the WN.
Which is somewhat annoying for me if I get impatient and want to read ahead I guess. The first scene you mentioned has more of the implications than the manga version, but the cause etc is the same as the manga and the invention you mentioned happens later in the light novel. Personally I rather like how it's all been developed in terms of how it functions as character and relationship growth, I have to admit. Plus it means that the LN and WN seem to be just somewhat different routes with similar start and end points, means that there's value in both of them beyond just "the LN has illustrations" -

I see, that's interesting. However, I was referring to many other implications, such as: -

Nice, that's interesting. Man, I wish the LNs got picked up by some group, or licensed. I would really like to read it. Anyhow:By the way, I've seen some illustrations from volume 3 [REDACTED for spoilers and multiple tags apparently not working in a single post] Can you tell me about this volume?
Sure.
And I hope it gets licensed too (partly why I'm happily active in the thread), it'd be especially nice to have a yuri novel where it's not so much front and centre but just a part of the story itself.
