Credit Sale for Cyber Monday!
-
Just to confirm, no credit sale for cyber Monday this year for various reasons, some you might be able to guess?
We will have sales in the future though! Promise.

@sam-pinansky
Good to know. -
Ah yes, the discount credits are all stuck on a boat waiting to be unloaded and couldn't be delivered to JNC in time to be sold this year :D
Anyway good to know there will still be sales in the future
-
@legitpancake I stopped at one lot of 20. Should hold out through the end of the year, ass-u-me-ing there isn't another drop of 10 series I'm interested in... Which reminds me, I still have to pre-order some new books, now that I'm stocked up again.
-
@sam-pinansky Well fuck me, I hadn't run out of credits until today after the 100 credits i bought last year. Oh well, guess I'll just take 20, hope they last until your next sale. I doubt with all the fire series you just announced lol.

That must be it! Or perhaps the credits got stuck in the Suez Canal then got sent to another world after being crushed by the avalanche of ensuing fanfiction. 🚢

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention the JNC Manga sale going on at ComiXology/Kindle. Tons of volumes discounted and first volumes for only .99
-
@the-green-death Those prices seem to be available only on the ComiXology site. Normal price rules in the Kindle store as of 12 hours ago.
-
@the-green-death I posted about it a couple days ago :P

@strangeattractor Sam mentioned various reasons for no sale this year. The most likely reason is that they gave the premium credits to an intern in Japan to mail to JNC headquarters and they got hit by Truck-kun. Now that they and the credits are stuck in another world (physical premium credits sure are weird) it's troublesome getting them back (and the intern too). I'm guessing the gods of the other world use premium credits to fund the granting of skills and abilities. The intern is probably using it to order take out from this world because you can only eat rabbit or orc meat for so long before you miss modern Japanese cuisine. So the God of this world (Kadokawa) is probably working with Sam to get those credits spent while the gods of the other world are working to hoard the credits so they can use it for their own ends. It seems they got enough credits to secure our monthly premium credit lot, but not enough for the sale.
That's why it was promised we would have sales in the future. Eventually most of the credits would be spent and come back to this world. Probably.

Didn't some else mention intern-kun accidentally got the "costs 2x skill" and is burning through premium credits every time he visits the cow-girl brothel? At least intern-kun hasn't worked up the courage to visit the loli brothel yet.
-
Well, I was a bit sad to see no premium credit sale this year - but the tangent the thread went on about where the credits went was worth the visit!
-
@sam-pinansky That is disappointing :( At least my credit limit I guess gets to be happy.
