Kodansha has licensed the manga for the English audience. But the one travesty that makes the experience soulless? The fact that the tankoubans don't have the coloring. So consumers have to deal with the fact that greyscale is a standard for the actual manga volumes. This is a problem even present in the original Japanese volumes. Meanwhile, the web magazine in magazine pocket still contains the coloring. What we truly need is have the manga volumes be in color or be able to simulpub (like what jump is doing with their series to the English audience) the web manga with the color releases. I don't know if Kodansha is ever willing to simulpub their manga but it having the option to read the new chapters as they come out and have the option to buy the chapter reading privileges a while after release could be an avenue (hopefully J novel club would do but the thought is there). It's a sad state of affairs when manga could not release their full potential like the web magazine does. -
Bumping this not because of the manga, but because I realized that this has a LN that IIRC hasn’t been licensed yet.
Author is Kenkyo na Circle
Artist is Mel
Published by Kodansha Ranobe Bunko (How Not To Summon a Demon Lord)
Five volumes at the moment, the most recent one published earlier this yearIf Kodansha doesn’t decide to license the LN, JNC can always try to get it on the rebound.

I see "not isekai" as a tag on this topic. Does that mean he's reincarnated from someone who also used to live in that same world, similar to Hero King?

@pcj
Yep, same world unless it’s very different from the manga. -
Aaaaand now it has an anime announced.

Is this a discussion thread or a makeshift licensing suggestion for the novel?
-
@LegitPancake I could’ve sworn it was the latter. Huh.
