The 12 kingdoms sound more likely since it's an isekai and the serie is more active, with a new volume coming out in japan
Source on this?

I'd love me some Gosick but unfortunately it doesn't look like JNC material. IIRC there were responces from Sam that he doesn't believe in the potential of detective light novels or something like that.

For Sam's other hints, I feel like "answer" should be guessable, but I don't have any good ideas.
M-maybe this one? It gives off a kind of fetish-y father/daughter vibe which could in theory be an answer to the mother/son relationship... But nah, this guess is probably bad since it looks a tad too wholesome for that and I'm not even sure if Earth Star Novel books are licensable to be begin with.

Jinrou & Walking my Second Path are from Earth Star
As well as Average Abilities not that JNC has it, but apparently he wanted to get it and was too late

Seven Seas announced SCP Foundation: Iris of the Mirror World light novel. Same author as Yume Nikki and Echo.
-
I'm gonna be hopefull and bet on the new genre being mecha (since neither Smartphone nor Infinite Dendrogram are true mecha) and one of the 2 series being the sequel to Gargantia, the other could be Knight and Magic since it's both mecha and isekai making it safer.
Well if i listen to my heart i would bet on the new genre being nearSf and the new serie being Shinsekai yori and Humanity has declined but I'm not that much of a fool ^^
Edit: i just remember that we recently get Full metal panic which is a Mecha, but it's still new and since the 2 novel are said to be part of the push, it in fact seem even more likely
-
@raitoiro I would say Infinite Stratos & Full Metal Panic! are mecha?
-
@terabyte yeah, i totaly forgot FMP i notice just after posting --'
but infinite stratos isn't really mecha, it's more like mechanised underwears -
It might be too much to ask for, but I'd be really happy if the "answer to 'do you love your mom?'" title ends up as The Death Mage Who Doesn't Want a Fourth Time
-
@yumenokage Whoa, be carefull, don't say that title , you will summon @Zing
Joke aside, the mom part doesn’t seem important enough in the serie to truly be a responce, the mom death is what lauch the story and guide it at the begining, but then she is a secondary characters and her and Van don't interact much.

Announcements from the Discord voice-chat panel from Sakuracon 2019:
- Middle-Aged Businessman Makes a Name for Himself in Another World Thanks to Goddess Power! (Kodansha, answer to "Do You Like Your Mom?")
- 2 volumes, complete series
- Record of Wortenia War
- Side By Side Dreamers (yuri, Iori Miyazawa, Hayakawa Shoubo, single book)
- Same author as Otherworld Picnic
- Seriously Seeking Sister! Ultimate Vampire Princess Just Wants Little Sister, Plenty of Service Will Be Provided! (yuri, 1 volume, not sure if will continue)
- Crest of the Stars (license rescue, space opera, closer to YA than LN)
Non-license announcement:
- Both Full Metal Panic and Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars will be released in triple-omnibus hardcover print editions, late 2019/early 2020. (MSRP $29.99, A5 size)
- No comment on the short-story volumes yet.
- Ascendance of a Bookworm in print (fall 2019), faster releases than usual due to the anime, Elf Bride (very good sales in Japan, SEA, for JNC), Infinite Dendrogram (fall 2019), Animeta (already up on Amazon) and Marginal Operation (manga, Dec/Jan) also in print.

Oh, family isekai is complete with 2 volumes? That's short 😧
-
@myskaros bit disappointed nothing I’m really interested in but it’s good seeing JNC getting some more unique and different titles but on the other side don’t know how much longer I’ll keep my premium member ship if they don’t start getting some newer titles I’m interested in. Last two sets of new licenses have been kind of a let down

Eh, I liked my guess way better.
Will probably try Wortenia Senki... I guess?
So only the "rescued title" left? Is it today too?
-
The VC panel is over, I've updated my post with all the announcements.
-
@novurdim Myskaros edited his comment for the last licenses. The rescue is Crest of the Stars.
-
I'll pick up only the first 2 titles: Family Isekai and Wortenia. Not interested in the other 3. I guess that means I won't be as busy as I thought reading new weekly parts (lol).

He said technically cancelled but self-contained and not ending on a cliffhanger like Genius did.

I swear I'm gonna smack Sam this time around if it's not true.
"Me a Genius" left a bad feeling with that cliffhanger, and now Sam earlier in virtual panel confirmed the author got a (real - if we want to call it like that?) job and there's basically no chance he'll ever publish V4. (Should I pray he loses his job and goes back to LNs? 😅)
