The current format people may ignore because because some people don't want to read what they think are resurrected old threads, having a new thread for each set of guesses clearly shows that it is about something new. However because I have now been informed that this thread is that way I won't ignore it but new people may ignore it until they stumble upon information about it being a constantly updated thread like I did.
well, @Fezu updates the title to represent and posts in the comments that it is updated, so I do not see why you would think this was an "old thread" being resurrected. the only reason I can think of is that you "ignored" this thread and thus did not get it in the "Unread" tab or the "notifications" tab.
I look at the first post. see it is dated for 2 years ago and then assume it is an old thread being necro'd. Pretty easy to see why someone not familiar with the way things are done in this thread to assume it is from a long time ago. Changing the title doesn't change the date of the first post at this time.
I was getting it in my updates but seeing that it was the 2 year old thread I ignored it for the longest time without clicking on the ignore function.
Also, the unread posts show how long ago the thread was created... it shows 2 years on mine without even looking at the first post.

For what it’s worth the post is pinned to the forum, that way everyone should know this is not a dead topic.

@rahul-balaggan thanks for clarifying.
-
Could it be retitled “The Ongoing Speculation Thread (current info held here parenthetically)”?
-
LOL Random
Help! I'm drowning!
WRYYYYYYYYYYY
A license "rescue"
Might not make it in time for AX (sorry)
Finally my String Theory background comes in handy
You Asked for Snu-snu...
They don't make them like they used to
Highly requested

Updated.

So, A license "rescue", huh? I wonder which one...
Btw, what was the meaning behind the RTFM hint for Slave Elf Bride?

"How to" = Manual / Guide? Idk what the connection to the story was. I think I heard the title took some liberty too, so probably not easy to guess from that?
-
@terrence the fan translations version of the title was “but how do I love her?” So the idea is that I gave him the usual answer of rtfm. Assuming one came with her at the slave auction anyway.
-
Ah, thanks.

Rescue in quotation marks... Curious.
Edit: I think this may not be a license rescue on Sam's part, but on a Japanese publisher's part. Someone hinted at one of the licenses being

@sam-pinansky Really glad you got both Elf Wife and Lazy DM. Started reading both the f-t's this month, though some of the grammatical errors in LDM made my brain boil.
I am very curious and equally worried about what the snu-snu hint means. -
Any school romcoms among the new titles? I always enjoy them, so would love to see one.
-
@crimson-wise Not in the 2 titles that we already know of. We still have 10 left and another 5 after AX, based on what Sam said. There might be one (or more?) in those 15 titles left...
-
@terabyte Also 2 of the remaining hints are single volume series’.
-
@terabyte I know, it was something more like a wish/request :P
-
@crimson-wise That's what the Licensing Suggestions! forum is for :P
-
I hope Mushoku tensei is part of the anoucement. At least to of the hints ("You Asked for Snu-snu..." and "Highly requested") could corespond.
Do you like death, war and misery ?
Do you like badass op loli who let nobody got in their way ?
Do you like vengeance story?
If so then then vote for The girl who ate a death god -
@raitoiro Yea, but how hard is it to license from Media Factory? J-Novel hasn’t gotten any titles from them before.

AX Announcement #4: A license "rescue"
Now is will it be something that has already been licensed like Kinos' Journey or Aria the Scarlet Ammo or something else? Why is rescue in quotation marks?
-
@legitpancake It may be hard, but anythink need a beginning. And parts of the LN are realeased as bonus with the english version of the manga, so the editor may be willing to export it, even in digital version.
