"I won't give up now."
With green hair and blue eyes, Lucia thought she would never be pretty because of her plain appearance. But after a childhood encounter, she decides that no matter what anyone says, she will wear the clothes she loves, wear the hairpiece she likes, and keep liking what she likes.
Lucia grows up and continues to make clothes day after day, dreaming that one day she will have her own workshop. One of the socks she made for her friend Dahlia's request led to her being appointed head of a new magical clothing workshop.
She has to deal with a lot of criticism and trouble because of her big promotion, but it's nothing compared to what she has to do to make her dream come true! While working, Lucia also solves the problems of the people who visit the clothing guild, like a lady...
A new series about Lucia, a popular character in the 'Magical Artisan Dahlia' series!
One day, she'll fill the royal capital with beautiful clothes! Lucia the couturier's happy-clothes plan begins here! Why license this?
Because it's a Dahlia spinoff. And I like Dahlia. -
Wow this title feels really weird, like a Dahlia in Bloom homage. Is that inspired by someth-IT HAS A SPINOFF!
I'm in. -

Okay... Lucia is not the character I would have predicted to get a spinoff... But yeah, I'd be interested to read this.
-
I love Dahlia in Bloom, so I'd be up to read the spin-off.

For a sec I thought that was an engagement bracelet on her wrist and was all "She's engaged?! Deets now" but then I realized it was a pincushion, but still deets now or at least translations

Well, there's not many choice if they want to have a female main chara for the spinoff lol.

Speaking of engagement, the manga seems to highlight the romance aspect more, considering they put a flashback as first scene. But judging from Dahlia, craft goes first and romance is put on the backseat of a long, long ride.

I saw the title, paused, thought, "That's Dahlia's friend, right? OH MY F-ING GHOD!!! want want want want and clicked the link to open the topic and check and make sure.
So, um, yeah.
Count me in.
Admittedly, if it weren't for the most recent pre-pub posting, I wouldn't be reacting quite this way.
But it made it clear that fashion is her geek.
I can get into that.
Stories about creative people getting into the stuff they create, I really enjoy.(Provided the author has done their research properly...) -

Lucia gets quite a central role in recent Dahlia chapters, and her job class gets an official translation. So just bumping this thread with a translation change to match the official 🤭
