Demon Lord, Retry: Did the author/publisher stop the series?

So I was wondering if anyon has any news regarding Volume 9 of this series. The releas ein Japan for the last 4 volumes was around 6 months apart of each other. But now we have no new volume for 1.5 years.
So... is the series discontinued? Are there problems with the publisher? Is the health of the author at risk (to be true I read too often that an author is in poor health because of the pressure).
Atleast the author seems or seemed to want to continue after volume 8 because he left it with this big cliffhanger at the end (is it redudant to say cliffhanger and end because usually cliffhangers are always at the end?).

According to the author's twitter, they said that vol 9 should be finished by end of April.

So any news about how the licensing of the new volume goes forward? Seems like the book gets released in a week in Japan. So 6 months like usual for an international release?

Just finished reading Vol 9 (JP) a few days ago. Love it is all I'll say. Can't wait to read it in EN in 6 months as well. I wonder how long Vol 10 is gonna take this time but at least we're getting more Anime along the way~
