[CONTEST OVER] JNC Original Light Novel Contest

I decided to restrict my outline to the first arc (three volumes) as it is a natural ending point and I'll be happy if I get there. The main questions in the arc ae resolved, the Big Bad is defeated, the Hero lives, etc.
I do have future arcs planned but, personally, my approach is to break it up into manageable and publishable chunks - especially as we only have 10,000 words total and I want to give them certainty that this has an end point.

I really didn't want to be that person, but...
I submitted my work about a month ago, since I figured that I wouldn't have time to work on it anymore until much later. However, it seems that in the end, I was able to translate the manuscript into my own language, still this year. Of course, while doing so, I found some more mistakes in the English manuscript, despite all my best efforts to eliminate every single one of them before submission.
I know that submitting my work again will get me in trouble. But I just want to ask if there is a way or if I'll have a chance later on to fix those things before the preview is made available on the site (that is, if I ever pass the 2nd round).
The mistakes are not that critical, but as a perfectionist, of course they bother me a lot.

Hi, based on how things went last year. This seems highly unlikely. To the point where I would say the odds are so insignificant as not worth considering.

Okay, the mistakes are not that bad anyway. Either way, it won't even matter much, since I'll surely be eliminated.

Just making sure, but when submitting for the ongoing category, we put the full word count which includes the manuscript, outline, and characters bios, not just the manuscript, right?

Should just be the words in the manuscript itself. That being said plenty have entered the full word count. No one will be penalized for that.

I somehow managed to complete the revision of Lost & Found in under a month. Granted its revision was nowhere as extensive as Black & White, but still, there's about 8K of new prose and probably another 1K of tweaks in the existing prose. God do I feel burned out.

Is there a confirmation of acceptance for submitting an entry? I just submitted a work, but I can't find anything stating if that submission went through.

@Ronoken Last year you could request a confirmation—I think by email—but there was nothing automated. I want to say that something was already up in the forums about it for this year—if anyone finds it, please bump it up!

Man, I hate writing the Plot Outline for the rest of the story.
But that matter aside, I know where the story will be going. I know what will happen exactly to the point where I started writing it down with far too many details, having to scratch many itterations already before I simplified it enough for everything to fit....only to find myself using up all the space in the events further down the line, thinking that I have to explain every little detail that will happen between characters in order for it to make sense and not sound like "And suddenly there are aliens" like a deus ex machina!
Dramatic shifts in works are necessary, but at which point does it just sound ridicoulus to the person judging it, even if it is slowly set up right from the start over multiple hints and themes?
How far into the future do I have to explain where it goes, even if I have a definitive end in mind?
Do I really have to go all the way to the end of the story for the Plot Outline, is it okay to skip details, is it okay for it to maybe sound ridicoulous?I am begging for answers, how should this be approached?

@AkayaKaito I basically did the outline as if they were synopses for each future volume of the series like you might see on the back of a book or webstore page. I do include the intended conclusion and main pivot point of each volume, but I offer no real details beyond that.

At first I wanted to tell you that I had tried something similar to that already, but after reading it again for a few times it got me thinking.I guess it might backfire on me, but I will try to use something the way you described, only painting in broad strokes.
