I need help understanding this conversation.

My brain is fry or something. What does this mean? I try translating into my first language but I still don't get it. It probably something obvious and I not thinking about it because it obvious. The sentence in question. (before you even go bringing sorcerers into it.)
The conversation the sentence is part of.
You are unusual man, Asuta. It's just like Shin say. You man stove, and yet at times, you have the daring look of a hunter about you. You really are exaggerating again. I'm not one all that great. No, it's true. Manipulating flames like this, and taking such hard, smelly giba meat and making it delicious... It really is like you are one of those sorcerers from the eastern kingdom. That's what it mean to be chef. I'm sure you can find a whole ton of more skill cooks in the capital, (before you even go bringing sorcerers into it.)
-
That looks like it was machine-translated from some other language unless you mis-typed a bunch of it in the process of getting it posted here. A good chunk of that is not very good English. (And I'm not sure how to clarify it as a result)
-
That's a terrible translation. Maybe something like this?
Person x: "You are a really good cook Asuta, like a hunter of good food, or a sorcerer of yumminess"
Asuta: "No, no I'm not so great, many chefs in the capital are more skilled without using sorcery."

@pcj It cooking with wild game volume 3. Light novel. Page 206.
The digital store I using doesn't let me copy paste. So I had to type it manually. If I miss something I not sure. I look it over several times while typing it. -
@HarmlessDave That make sense to me.

@JRPG-Nation You did miss a fair few small words and all of the line breaks and speech marks which help demonstrate when a new person is speaking from what my v3 copy has
“You’re an unusual man, Asuta. It’s just like Shin said. You man the stove, and yet at times, you have the daring look of a hunter about you.”
“You really are exaggerating again. I’m no one all that great.”
“No, it’s true. Manipulating flames like this, and taking such hard, smelly giba meat and making it so delicious... It really is like you’re one of those sorcerers from the eastern kingdom.”
“That’s just what it means to be a chef. I’m sure you can find a whole ton of more skilled cooks in the capital, before you even go bringing sorcerers into it. Alright... it’s done.”
HarmlessDave's interpretation is pretty much correct, he's simply saying that it's perfectly reasonable to be about to do what he can, it's hardly a level of sorcery.

@GeorgeMTO thank. Grammar never been something I can't avoid to alway mess up.

Ah, if I saw what GeorgeMTO posted I would have figured it out. The original post missed too much.
