Than I downloaded the App. But there I'm supposed to pay in EUR and that price is more expensive than what I pay on the webseite in USD. So I didn't try it and I will be waiting for the website to be fixed.
I think you might have downloaded the wrong JNC app, if it says the price is in € (Euros), you have downloaded JNC-nina, with has ONLY FRENCH & GERMAN titles.

@Ekun I didn't mention that I'm in Germany. The app uses Google Pay and as a german user I pay in EUR for anything in Google Pay. The app doesn't have any option to pay with the payment method registerd with the J-Novel Club account (probably due to the terms for apps in the Play Store). So I think everything works as intended there. The conversion rate for Google Pay/Play Store purchases is just very bad. So I prefere paying directly at J-Novel Club website in USD.

The app only loads the list of available new chapters, but does not open them. It also does not show the list of all series. It won't let me sign on to the app. And the error message that comes when I open a chapter is Oops a bug has occurred.

Hello,
Please go to the account tab. In the top right corner is a sign out button. Tap that and sign back in.
If that doesn’t work delete not work. Please delete the app and download again.

@AsuraNemcha Someone from the staff can clarify since I don't know the site backend at all, but I believe doing that basically sets a password for your account on JNC's site so that you can log in with the username/password method instead of Google SSO, it's not resetting your google account password. It would mean you'd need to remember one more password, and I'm not sure if there could be any knockon effects once Google SSO starts working again

Oddity.
Purchasing from the User Library, where it's adding additional volumes, seems to be working just fine.
Purchasing from the series page gives a server error message.Failed to redeem volume: Server error. Try again later.
Except...the transaction did go through.
A page refresh shows the item as now being owned.
But every single item showed that error message. -

Been having intermittent issues with the subscribed rss feed (and had them immediately after maintenance which is why I think it's related), I got a 500 error when it was automatically refreshed ~10 hours ago and but when I manually refreshed ~8 hours ago it worked. I've tried refreshing manually a few times in the past half hour and have only gotten the 500 error (I know 500 is the generic error but felt it worth specifying since you might have others coded in to rule out)

Would be nice if in the calendar the 'Final chapter' info could be added again like in the pre-maintanance.
E.g. The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects (Manga) Volume 6 Chapter 5 is the last one of these volume but there is no info in the calendar any more. -

Are things supposed to be back to pre-upgrade condition? Haven't seen any formal notices saying what the state of different features are and if they should be restored. I'm still seeing these issues when reading from the app (note: cleared the app data, uninstalled it, and re-installed, re-logged in multiple times) ...
- Some reading history has been restored (few random items), but not all of it, even recently read (less than 30 days)
- If I read new manga (not light novels), the progress is not tracked (remains black not green) but light novels are updating.
- I have errors when purchasing coins, usually on the 2nd chapter of a book when prompted. I go through the purchase process, and it will error, but the coins will still be added to my account. I will then get a different error when purchasing the volume with the coins, but the volume will still be unlocked to be read. When I check the account tab, the total credits have not decreased, but if I refresh it will drop to the correct value. So, the transactions are happening, the UI is just not updating. Sorry I didn't have the errors on hand, haven't need to purchase a chapter to re-produce and capture.
Appreciate the work your team is putting into this, just wondering what the status of things were. Might be good to post a new update outlining what you've fixed and what is still in progress. Thx

Hi, we went right into a weekend and then into a federal holiday. Our IT team has been working through the weekend.

@Rahul-Balaggan I hadn't realised it was a long weekend in the US. I appreciate the team working through the weekend. I do have my doubts about their employer making these major changes the day before a long weekend though...
