Dates no longer visible on forum posts

Is it just me or was there an update that removes the dates from forum posts?
Also, is it connected to the fact that the website refuses to load properly and wouldn't let me log in?
Just for clarity, today's date is 29th January, 2025. I've posted this at 10:59 am AST.

We did not update anything so not sure how that happened.
Looks like if you hover over the last time that it was posted it shows the date and timestamp

I just tried to reply to your post but I couldn't. Also, all my threads are set to 'not watching' it seems and I can't change it. I didn't get a notification that you'd replied to my post. I only saw your reply because I happened to check. I can't see what time you posted but this reply was posted at 11:56 am AST. Still the 29th January, 2025.

Well, I can't edit my previous reply so I have to write a new one. I can't select the menu options at the side. Also, the post box takes up the full screen instead of a separate window where you can still see the rest of the thread. I also don't see anything in the preview box even though it's right there at the side. I'm using the forums on the website through Google Chrome on my laptop.

I can't say I am experiencing any of what you are explaining. Everything is working as normal.
Could you try accessing the forums in a different browser?

@saidahgilbert
Demonstrating the reply function is working for others. -
I'm loath to toot my own horn, but maybe you're affected by https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/8901/net-err_http2_protocol_error-net-err_quic_protocol_error/1 ? If random CSS or JavaScript is failing to load, it might produce weird problems.
I think the post reply link might also be broken for me.

I've logged in on Firefox and the reply function is still not working for me. When I click on 'reply', it takes me to the top of the page.

I forgot to write the time and date of the last post. 2:05 pm AST 29th January, 2025

Now I'm at home and both the website and the forums are working for me as normal. I guess the Internet at work was blocking some aspect of the website which is why it wasn't working?
-
@saidahgilbert
Work website security measures can do such, yes.
...that would have been useful information, that it was a work connection. -
@Geezer-Weasalopes I forgot that it was relevant because I've used the website at work before. So I thought it was a site thing and not an Internet connection thing. I'll have to see if it also doesn't work tomorrow then I'll know that it was truly my work's Internet connection.

@saidahgilbert
It would be bothersome for you if it is due to your worksite IT staff changing something.
On the other hand, J-Novel's support staff would be relieved at it being something someone else did. -
@Geezer-Weasalopes Turns out it wasn't my work connection. Because I'm at work now and the website is working fine. So I guess it was a temporary glitch?🤷🏾♀️

The stars were aligned against you. -
