Well.... one more from me. Was gonna go with 'No-Rin のうりん' (https://bookwalker.jp/series/7969/list/) to lay down a request proper, since I saw it was brought up (albeit quite awhile back) and because the author (Shirow) is wrapping up another of his popular works, to give attention to it, but this'll do instead. Couldn't help it since I was playing 'Romance of the three kingdoms XIV'.
More of a replay really...
And, yep. Partway into one of the final battles against Dong Bai, I recalled a scene from this novel—
The only Japanese novel I think —truly the only one— with its own fictionized accounts of the Three Kingdoms featuring even the group together; Xi Shi, Wang Zhaojun, Diaochan, and Yang Yuhuan—
Made me think, as I was going through it. "Huh. SevenSeas is pretty into grabbing Chinese stuff, or stuff adjacent to it. Yet... Somehow, they've overlooked this!
