... or since some volumes have more than 8 parts. Using "Part 8 - Final Part" seems better (or number of part that it finishes). And if we don't see "Final Part" (or other word) written we assume that the volume is still being translated since is still not finished.
Cause i do think that it's needed to point out which part it ends.
I gave a bit of more thought. So if we leave a space between the last part of a volume and the 1st part of the next volume.
At the moment is like this:
And i was thinking something like this:
... also if the volume is still on-going. Leave that blue thing and write on-going. Another Example:
So i just wanted to leave some suggestions. But to be honest i don't know if they are effective or not.
.... actually, after writing all this... maybe it's better in the begging of each volume write in bue "Volume 1 - start" (or other better thing -,-) and if the volume is already finished write in read "Volume 1 - Finished" and if the volume is still being translated write in yellow "On-Going".
More examples (because why not :D )
I do realized that i have made some mistakes in the images. :p but it was just to get my point across so don't mind them xD
I do like the last one more and think it's more effective. But what's bothering me is the colors. Since your site only uses the color blue. Using red and yellow probably will look "ugly" :( But hey, is just a suggestion so don't mind the problems. Maybe you can use something of what i just said... or you guys already have something in mind and all this is useless -,-''
@Jaquobus It's something I'm looking into. I think it's technically a Kobo epub3 incompatibility as I use as certain CSS that Kobo doesn't seem to render properly.
With more testing I'm sure to find a combination that works better on all devices, and when I do I'll update our epubs with them.
@erictbar This forum clearly has issues with new threads sometimes, I can't reproduce it on my end.
As for updates, I think that I will add in a "version" display to the My library page, and maybe let people know of updates in the ebook newsletter (and here on the forum).
We'll only be fixing small things (hopefully!).
@Rufusking1 Good questions! I'm happy to answer them.
We license the rights for a fixed number of years, with the possibility of renew of the license. Not gonna say how many years but it's more than 1 and less than 10.
We've licensed the first 2 or 3 volumes of each series, and we will add on future volumes as we go. Although we don't own the rights to all future volumes there is an expectation that we will continue to pay for the licensed for the rest of the series, no matter how long it might be... eventually, anyway.
I actually need to go and license volume 2-3 of saihate no paladin for example, since when I got that license only volume 1 had been released. But adding on extra volumes doesn't require a new contract, just a new addition to an existing contract.
@WolfeReader Right: That's something I am already considering while implementing that functionality.
I'll limit the number of credits that could be purchased all at once (maybe like 1, 3, 5), and require reinputting the code as you pointed out.
Previously that's not needed but once you open up "theoretically" unlimited charges it can be abused. It's not so much protection for the consumer either, it's protection for US! If the bank/credit card issues a chargeback for a huge fraudulent purchase amount, we're on the hook for the processing fees both ways, after all.
Stripe has been pretty good about blocking sketchy cards so far... One guy from a south asian country tried to sign up using 40 different debit card numbers (they were all blocked). I kind of appreciate the clear passion for light novels the person must have had, but please, don't pay with stolen CC#s....
Again like my previous post, I'm not to sure about this one, it just seemed weird to me. Sorry in advance if it's supposed to be like that.
The 4th paragraph before the chapter ends.
"First her machete knock away its spear..."
Should "knock" be "knocked"?

The only benefit on the app to having a free account is that it does save your reading progress.
