Are you trying to get them back or are they just gone for good? -
@khaos Sam explained on Discord that textless illustrations are prime for print-on-demand bootlegs or unofficial merchandise, and Kadokawa didn't want to enable that behavior. He didn't think it would be an issue since other publishers didn't care, so he never specifically brought it up as a bonus he was providing, and they requested the removal once they found out.
Whoever said nothing's impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

As a person who has bought the Kindle versions (due to convenience) but always having a preference for the paper format, I am greatly relieved that some of the series released by J Novel are being printed.
I know that some of those which are printed by Seven Seas do not have the extra content. But has J Novel indicated at this time if they are putting the short stories for "In another world with my smartphone" in the printed edition? This would be my main incentive for getting the paper copy, I do not think I could justify, a Kindle, a premium and a paper copy. -
wish the Gear Drive short stories had a bit more plot in them(particularly about the purple girl). but I guess we can wait til Vol 2 to see what happens.

Hey, I wished I had known about the e-book bonus contents were Premium only. Then I wouldn't have bought the e-books on other platforms. Just my complaint.

Shouldn't Kokoro Connect Volume 2 have textless Illustrations? It's kind of inconsistent since volume 1 had it, or was it forgotten? I've just downloaded premium vol2 and there was none. -
