We've got very similar suspicions on that point; My theory (waaay back on page 1) being that she was pushed to keep the Sun Witch from overshadowing the Saint, and she's only been spared from follow-up attempts because her amnesia allows them to cover everything up and get some use out of her.

AFAIK, Kalmia is Freesia's half-sister. I don't think it's ever been stated explicitly, but Kalmia definitely seems to think Freesia's dad is her true father. And given how such stories usually run, I wouldn't be too surprised that Kalmia's mother was his affair partner that got a promotion after the death of his presumably-arranged original wife.

I am amazed how these baka classist nobles and royals keep picking fights with the resident Person of Mass Destruction without ever bothering to check notes with their counterparts in the other countries that already got humbled and steamrolled by her. Even for the standards of a premodern culture with advanced magic, news about the geopolitically-critical and pop-culture-juicy facts of an Archmage and living demigoddess walking the Earth and humbling kingdom after kingdom seems to spread awfully slow. Apparently, they got the news she is prime bride material but not that she has no patience for overbearing elites and the means & will to crush their antics. Aren't there any decent storytellers, traveling merchants, or intelligence in this world?

The advertisement for the play about a boy who bid farewell to his own province and used a divine vessel etc. Seems really like foreshadowing of an epic showdown in the future. The guy who stole the miasma creating sword could be in turn possessed by said sword and be Akira's nemesis.
The answer to Akira's question about Yotsurogi could have been easily provided by asogi. I am also wondering if they are somehow related.

Klimt could have been captured by the rebels, I don't think the Chuuzan brothers mentioned anything about him.

Sora will approach them, tell them he's looking for Klimt, and the demons, who just discussed that it would be great to bring Sora into the fold, will offer to help him out if he sides with them.

It would be great if it was finally revealed why the demons were banished beyond the gate and what happened 300 years ago. The Mitsurugi clan is full of sociopaths, so I find it likely that they really are the bad guys in all this.

Lloyd's not on the cover again. I'm guessing purple girl is Murasaki. Human brunette with sword <- can't be Stella, so Sumire? Which leaves blue girl...?

Will Lloyd's buffs allow dad to trounce Murasaki or only hold his own? A trouncing would be good for her attitude... If news of the training gets out then Yui and the rest will probably figure it out and come looking for mr. low self esteem.

The preface made it sound like maybe Stella got thrown out of her party so that Selen (and the rest?) wouldn't hold her back anymore. It was done out of love.

Well, whoever this "T." person might be, I'm sure she's a very serious lady who's not at all an angel from the celestial plane who's acting as a maid because she finds her new life more fulfilling, and she sounds like a good ally.

So, I did not pick up this volume over translation concerns from the previous one. How was it this time? Did it also get the wrong people speaking or wrong actions assigned to people making it (more) confusing?
