NEET dakedo Hello Work ni Ittara Isekai ni Tsuretekareta
      alt text

The NEET Yamano Masaru (23 years old) went to Hello Work and found an interesting job offer. [A sword and sorcery fantasy, test play for Miniature Garden of Razgrad. Extended period of time, preferred to be able to live on site. Monthly salary of 250,000+]. He immediately went to the interview and signed a contract.

However, the place of employment is in another world. Because of the contract, he’s taken there, and in order to survive, Masaru received a cheat but is told the shocking truth.

“This world will be destroyed in 20 years.”

Can a simple NEET prevent the destruction of the world!?

The MC is given what is pretty much a "Cheat Skill" but that does not mean he is OP or even strong in the beginning, he gets humiliated by what is essentially a Slime or Rat in an RPG; The MC works to get strong. The skill he is given is basically just your standard Character sheet that he can manipulate using skill points that he gets when he levels up. Skill points are used to acquire skills the easy way (he can acquire skills through hard work and practice) yet similar to Death March it is just like brute force if he has no practice and experience with said skills. you can think of it like Deku when he first gets "One for All," Deku could only use 100% or 0% at the beginning but now he can use 5% because of his hard work and practice. This is similar for Hello Work too.

If I hadn't already been sold on this series, it's not that I like depressing stuff, but if there was any indication that this series was willing to move beyond a lighthearted story built on common tropes, a quote from the manga: "Poverty cannot be healed with magic." You can't solve malnutrition with a healing spell.

I was actually taking a look at the manga for this one yesterday. I found it interesting and took a look at the first 2 volumes of the LN fan translation, I'd read this one for sure if it gets picked up.
