Grimoire of Zero / Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho
-
Oh, it’s completed? Huh, that’s nice. Really would like to know more after the anime ended.
-
@legitpancake yeah since it adapted 1 vol. in 12 episodes which is impressive! i would like to have this one licenced :D
-
@legitpancake From the tiny bit I’ve been able to find out about what happens later in the series I definitely hope it gets licensed. I really enjoyed the anime. Since it’s a shorter series (only 11 volumes total) hopefully J-Novel or someone can pick it up for us.
-
Oh man, this to be licensed would be perfect, since the fan translation was dropped, I really enjoyed the anime
-
is anyone still active in this discussion
-
@Murasuji-mh9dx5m
This isn’t really a discussion topic, it is a license request topic made in the hopes that J-Novel Club (or any company) will license this series.
If you wish to discuss this title you are free to open a topic in the Light Novel Discussion section of the forums.

Just finished the anime a few weeks ago and was shocked to find out that nobody has picked this up, or even fan translated it, yet.
I’m really hoping J Novel Club considers it for 2021 given its complete at only 11 novels.
-
I can't believe I'm still waiting for this to be licensed.
It's a great fantasy novel with funny and interesting characters and the best part: IT'S NO ISEKAI!
And it's complete. Why has noone licensed this yet?!
I NEED THIS!
HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT REEEEEEEEEE -
I've really been wanting too read this one.
-
Well at least we got the sequel as a manga adaption now. So maybe we will get the Grimoire of Zero LNs one day. There is still hope.

While no authority news in regards to redoing the show has been posted at this point, we can trust that the work on a continuation may be in progress and its delivery date might be posted soon since Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho is popular among fans. While much theory anticipates with respect to the story, from the idea of the evil spirit that Zero summons in the last scene to body have Mercenary to the effect of the enchantment spreading through the adjoining realm, Grimoire of Zero has all the substance important for a continuation in its original series and can head in a wide range of headings. The solitary thing we are managing is 'if and when'. The trouble in anticipating more up to date delivers is that however every one of the stars may adjust, the useful circumstance in the studios are more confounded than what we may expect. White Fox might be dealing with projects which may redirect assets from Grimoire of Zero. Check out for the more news regrading season 2

Bumping to get this licensed.
-
Really interested on this one, though there's an existing fan translation. Having an official would be better/
-
The fan translation still has a long way to go, so an official translation would probably catch up to and overtake them in relatively no time at all if that were an obstacle.

Since I just updated the ToC, maybe not quite so long to go...
But it'd still be nice if this got an official translation! -
A fan translation existing has never been an issue for J-Novel before, I don't see why this title would be an exception.

It shouldn't be.
The entire ethical argument concerning fan translations is that they prove there is a market for an official translation, after all.
From that perspective, a fan translation existing should be a plus, not a minus, when considering a license. -
Hello,
Just gonna bring us back around to the topic at hand.
There isn’t a dedicated “will fan translations lead to more licenses topic”, but we do have this one:
It is a good read, and has some information related to the side topic at hand.
Thank you

I would hope to see this series officially licensed, especially since Kodansha USA already licensed the manga adaptation of its sequel/spin-off series: The Dawn of the Witch.

@gorgo-primus Which fan translation group are you talking about? The original translator seems to have gone into indefinite hiatus around Volume 2 while a new group is already well into Volume 7 and updates three chapters per week.
