Going through the anime right now, and I can say it is a great show. Since it appears quite accurate about the original format (ie the LN) I'm sure the LN must be great too. So I support JNC taking over.
Furthermore, I've read in the previous posts that Sam couldn't license it due to the digital only situation. But, listening to Justus podcast with Sam, it seems that some JNC book publishing is on its way, making Bunny Girl Senpai licensing a possibility.
I do think that due to the anime popularity and critical success (8.62 on MAL), the one to snatch the licensing is going to profit alot from such momentum. JNC team being much faster at translating than the other editors, I do think it could also be a plus on your side.
Licensing it, and releasing several volumes in both ebook and printed ed, before the movies to air on 2019, would be a strong marketing hit.

And the anime has finished.
The only thing I've to say: Sam, bid again and offer more money please.

Yeah, especially since with the way market is right now, after another year it might be too late.

Honestly I am not satisfied with the ending. gonna wait for the Movie and desperately want to read the LN.
-
Definitely agree, my dude. Hope this comes to the West. It's too good to not get.
-
I am certainly wishing for this to be licensed. I think I read previously that the publisher was approached?
Since the anime series was just released and the movie is pending, there will certainly be a lot of exposure.
I quite lack wacky without being too wacky.(Out of interest, since I could not find it in the FAQs, how does one vote for a series on the forums?)

Half a bump, but also a curiosity. Since the movie is due out in the Summer which I believe is to cover volumes 6-7. Is there any news of an official license of this series?
-
@custodes Yen Press just recently licensed the manga, so it’s very possible they’ll be announcing the LN soon.

No

Ah, just saw the update on the Yen Press twitter. Half disappointed that it was only the Manga as well as being Yen Press. But half hoping that the light novel series gets picked up by the Summer.
-
@custodes It would be Yen Press great mistake if wouldn´t

@legitpancake Yea, when I first saw it I thought it was the LN and got super excited. I'll still pick up the manga in hopes of supporting the series and doing what little I can to show them there's interest in the series in hopes they'll license the LN as well. So between this, Chivalry of a Failed Knight, and Akashic Records I'm hoping that with Anime Expo coming up we'll get some good new license announcements.

MOVIE(adaptaion of vol. 6 and 7) SOLD 250 mil. Yen in just 2 weeks!! + At it is getting Premiere at Anime Expo

That's not exactly a great box office result, pretty far down the list at #50 for 2019. The top grossing anime film in Japan was Detective Conan's 2019 film at 8.8 trillion JPY.

I'm pretty sure that's billion.

I enjoyed the anime and would like to see this licensed. The movie, I’m not sure how big a deal anime movies are (at all) the My Hero Academia was entertaining but I don’t recall box office even being relevant

@legitpancake Sorry, yes, billion. It was 250 million versus 8.8 billion.
