Loved this series and also the sequel Shiniki no Campiones. I'd be happy if they get officially licensed but with a fan translation already completed I can see why it's difficult to happen.

I got stuck after BK got the DMCA, and since then I've developed a distaste for fan translations.... Now that I can read Japanese I've tried to pick up where I left off (three years ago Amazon.co.jp had like the entire series on sale for Kindle at 120 JPY a volume)... but I feel the references to various mythologies are so critical to enjoying the series that it's still a bit daunting. I even tried starting Shiniki no Campione but right off the bat got sidetracked by looking up Abe no Seimei...
What I'm saying is, I'd love to see this picked up, but I totally feel like it's going to need footnotes from the translator :P ...and footnotes and ebooks are apparently still a problem without a satisfactory solution given Banner/Crest of the Stars' distracting inline translations of Baronh.

This is one that we certainly need to have here in the west. Apparently most of the licenses are from new and little known series and I understand. I also understand that the anime aired a long time ago, but I still think it has the potential to sell reasonably well. Many LNs of about 5 years (or more) have a lot of potential, but it seems that they are being forgotten, unfortunately.

I'm adding my vote for Campione too.
It's been a long time since I read the fan translation but I would be happy to start it with a licensed version.
As other have said on this thread, the amount of investigation and work the author did to make references on mythologies is really good and it would be a waste to not have a licensed version.

Giving this a bump cause we were chatting about it and I felt like it. Would love to see this licensed considering it's strong action scenes and strong make-out scenes.

Okay. So we didn't get an old anime LN this time. I think some people have been naughty and Santa decided not to bring us Campione for Christmas.
All that means is we need to get back on the good list by buying more LNs with old animes. Like Supernatural, Amagi, FMP, Crest of Stars, Kokoro and Outbreak Company. Old anime crew let's go!
