Novel pick-up requests

That is the thing though. I am only 18 years old xD
-
Does it have a happy ending even though it is sad?
-
@Hakomari some interesting research shows that regular rollercoaster rides makes you pee them out before they are big enough to cause pain. FYI
-
@Hakomari It doesn´t have a happy ending : X But it is truly good.
-
Too late for me I think. First of all I can't even handle rollercoasters and secondly I already had one try at passing the stone. After vomiting 7 times and spending the late Sunday in the hospital, nothing came out. And now the pain is coming back but this time I know how much this shit hurts. I seriously thought of ways of killing myself instead of experiencing that pain anymore when the painkillers they gave me weren't helping.
-
@sparhawk6 So basically I will be depressed for weeks... No thanks. Not 5cms per second all over again.
-
@Hakomari This is more like 5 volumes per second :D I am not so easy depressed anymore after my divorce process :D
-
@sparhawk6 Ah sorry to hear about your divorce. I just get too emotionally attached to the characters so I get affected a lot by the plot. That is one of the reasons to why I hate rape in literature, it just makes me feel like I am watching someone get raped and not doing anything to help.
-
@Hakomari That is the same reason as mine, I hate when someone just watch and don´t help. But that WN I recommend you before, is different.
-
I'll read it whenever I get the chance!

@Student-no.0 This exact type of scenario (two leading / cover star male and females dating people that aren't each other) is what I like about So Cute It Hurts manga setup.
The video game Lost Oddysey also did something similar, with the female lead having no romantic attachment to the male lead. Virtue's Last Reward as well (again, why I enjoyed it).
Are there any LNs with significant relationships between characters that aren't the main male hero? It'd be nice to see some romance develop in an ensemble cast.

Yes. Mushoku Tensei had one I think. But it is later in the WNs, like volumes 10+. And the main character actually helped them get toghether (Best wingman ever!). Hakomari also had this but I can't really say who because it is a pretty important plot point later in the series.
There are also manga as Relife, Horimiya and Niijiro days where there are other couples in the main cast other than the main characters themselves.
-
@Terrence If you want LN/WN about wingman, read World Teacher. He have small harem but mostly help to his students to get women. (It is Isekai)
-
@sparhawk6 wait what? Who's the wingman there? Pretty sure the MC only succeeded in one?
-
@EJ-Bariring He helped to more ppl to get women. His harem is actually small. Idk how far did you read.
-
@sparhawk6 oh i see. I've only read as far as the current fan TL goes since the MTL for this one is really hard to understand compared to other titles.
-
@Hakomari ReLife is great. I need a season 2 of the anime. =)
I'll check out those other ones if they're in English. Horimiya I have read, though I got a bit tired of the pace around volume 3 (or was it 4? Either way, the early volumes made it seem like there was progress made between the main couple, but then there was stagnation and misunderstandings). I'll come back to it.
That World Teacher novel sounds good. Bring it over. xD
-
Relife is getting another season. It is a 4 episode OVA series that will wrap up the series and it is scheluded for 2018 spring I think.
-
It will be awesome if Eromanga-sensei will be licensed before YP will do it.
-
Well if Yen Press does it we won't get the first volume before late 2018...
