Kouryakuhon o Kushi Suru Saikyou no Mahoutsukai ~< meirei sa sero > to wa Iwa Senai Oreryuu Mao Tobatsu Saizen Ruuto ~
Does not have an English name, but MTL suggests: The strongest wizard who makes full use of the “strategy book”
Magnus, a mage who always got yelled at “just shut up and follow my orders!” by the Hero because he was deemed “useless”. One day after getting feed up with his party he left, upon leaving he met a merchant that sold him a mysterious book.
And it turned out that the book which was written in the god’s language was actually an ultimate encyclopaedia book that had a lot of useful information on how to defeat the Demon Lord!
Thanks to that book, he was able to know about boss monsters’ weaknesses and raise his level more efficiently, data about important people, and it even had info on complete gourmet spots in any city! Moreover, by using his wits and scheming mind, he’s even able to outclass the hero party! With the ultimate encyclopaedia in his hands, advance to the true route to defeat the Demon Lord!
Magnus wasn’t chosen by destiny to be the hero. That’s why, He’s going to beat the Demon Lord with his own power and wits and save the world.
As of now there is 2 manga chapters fan translated. Fantasy (non isekai) story with RPG elements where an underestimated/excluded party member gets to one-up an incompetent hero.
Protagonist gets bossed around by the destined hero and for some stupid reason, has to listen to the fools orders. Once he get kicked out, he gets his hands on a book written in holy alphabet (and he is the only one who can decipher it). That book is basically equivalent to hitchhikers guide to the galaxy written by the gods. Using that guide he can find out monster weakness, most optimal strategy to defeat monsters, location of rare items. He can even find such information as what food his date likes and where she wants to go.

What an adorable hairstyle! You can’t fail with double buns. Her character design is cute if you ask me, sweet and innocent. Really appealing. The white and blue goes well with blonde characters.
From reading web novel:
Once MC gets his hands on hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (tentative name), he goes around to collect rare items and comes across a bandit hideout where he meets the girl on the cover. She is merchants daughter and been kidnapped, possibly to be sold as a slave or for ransom purpose.
Later on when they meet again, she wants to thank him and he asks her out on a date. They have a good time together during the date and end it with a kiss (which was a first for both of them).
In the hero party, there is a swordwoman called Misha, she could possibly have a crush on protagonist. But from the thoughts of protagonist so far, he does not seem to see either the saintess or swordwoman as women.
