@serah first 2 parts going really good. thanks , i guess i found my next novel.
-
Oh! The event is even part of the "preview" stuff you can read here on JNC! I completely forgot about it!
Even if you are a non-subscriber, you can check out that way so many books before eventually buying them. Nice!
"Start from Ishizuka." How fitting!

I got from a friend the recommendation to check out "Alderamin on the Sky" - but I cannot find on amazon.
Does anyone knows who takes care of the English publication?
-
@serah Unfortunelaty that title has not been licensed for English translation, neither the manga or the LN, only the anime is currently available to stream.
-
Ah, okay. Thanks for the information.
Seems just seeing an anime is around is not a guarantee that a novel would be picked up in the west. Good to know. -
@serah i checked Wortenia but for some reason story didnt intersted me. Most probably because of writing. I will check the next one. Still , thank you for recomending.
PS:Story similar to Grace of the gods but writing is important too.
-
@hopebestman thank you for your feedback. That tells me your are most likely more into the writing style by FUNA, Dojyomaru and alike. Probably best not to pickup something like The Economics of Prophecy, The Greatest Magicmaster’s Retirement Plan or The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!. I assume those kind of writing would totally not your liking.
You may - or may not if you are curious - strike also 86 from the list.

Alderamin on the Sky
I enjoyed the anime but the LN is 14 volumes so there is much more to the story than it could cover in 13 episodes.
The anime felt like a better version of JNC's Altina the Sword Princess to me.

The Magic in this Other World is Too Far Behind!
I start reading this novel and i would recommend to people who likes OP protagonist and little ass holeness. I only read volume 1 and keep reading next volumes and i should say , the twist in the begining was nice. Its not a major spoiler but fun to see yourself. As for the "how good is the writing?" , i cant say its really good but at least good enough if you dont anything to read.
From vol 1 and first 80 pages of volume 2 , series should be 6.5/10
PS:I dont know how will story will goes but "harem" would be a thing in the future. Also if i remember , i will edit this end of the volumes or even i can remove this comment.

I thought the first few volumes were great.
Unfortunately, the last few have played up standard anime/LN teen comedy aspects that are really not my cup of tea.
-
@harmlessdave , honestly speaking i expected that. Like i said , writing is not great so even in the begining i didnt have any hope for writer. Eventually he would go that way in that series. Its weird that we didnt see anime yet. This is 2 season guaranty anime topic. Honestly , im just reading for one reason. That is a spoiler which i wont tell and i learned that because i did tiny search for it. But that reason is worth to reading 8-9 volumes... at least i will read :D
PS: I recommened it , because like you said , first 1 maybe 2 volumes were good and when i rec. i was in volume 2. I am a fast reader and have free time. So maybe friday or end of the week , i will edit my comment.
Edit: @Serah hey , i just re-read your comment. You said "you wouldnt like the writings about this" , you were right :D story is intersting but *sigh , its hard to find good (for my taste) writer.

Even in later volumes, the overall story and some of the battlers are still interesting, they're just mixed in with tired old comedy cliches and the standard harem.
I've stopped buying the volumes, but I do still read the pre-pubs.
-
@saskir I'll check this out. thanks
-
@harmlessdave i stoped at volume 4. i was reading 3 and started to 4 but i got swleepy so i slept. After that i never wanted to open the book again. I am re-reading stuff its much better than that series. Honestly , i dont remember why i recommended that book. :/

does anyone knows where to get or who is translating this light novel or web novel I Will Go and Disappear Quietly and Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku.
Thanks for Response
-
@ryu153 yeah...since this is the forums of an official localization company we don’t allow the posting of any fan fan translations or anything like that.
There are other places on the internet where your question can be addressed.
-
@ryu153 Since it doesn't seem to have a licensed translation, you could put up a thread in the Licensing Suggestions category.
-
Physical version?
-
Sorry this is a general recommendation thread for users to suggest titles for others users to read. As well as ask for recommendations.
It isn’t a thread where you can recommendations for J-Novel Club to consider.
For what it is worth they do physical releases for series that have high ebook sales.
If I misunderstood you I apologize.

The only light novel that I have enjoyed just as much as Bookworm is Overlord.
Overlord is about a futuristic man that gets trapped in the body of his favorite character in an RPG (a skeleton magic caster) and he is transported along with his guildhall into another dimension. This series is not available on J Novel...
Another light novel that I have enjoyed pretty well (but not as much as Bookworm or Overlord) is So I'm a Spider, So What? The main character is hilarious. It is about a girl that is re-incarnated as a monstrous spider in another world. This one is also not on J Novel.
