An angel made a mistake, resulting in Shiihara Daiki’s death. In order to hide the mistake, he was then sent to a different world. The angel will grant him one wish as a payment for keeping it a secret. Daiki asked for a Heavenly Castle floating in the sky without hesitation.
Suddenly a floating castle appeared in the new world, which causes confusion amongst the people. They attempt to contact Daiki in various ways. A country tries to steal it by force, while another seeks to befriend him. What in the world would Daiki do?My thoughts
I really like this series, the manga was pretty good. Good bit of adventure and fantasy with a bit of a sci-fi twist with mechanised golems and a very sci-fi like castle. The only problem is that this series might be stalled or cancelled since it hasn't had a new volume since 2019. -
Here's the illustrations for volumes 2 + 3

Worth noting that the title is stalled/cancelled.

Sure? The light novel is listed as ongoing on retail sites, volume 3 came out in November 2020, that isn't so long ago yet. And the webnovel was updated just a week ago(2021/05/03, chapter 126).

Light Novel retailers never list stuff as completed/stalled/axed without the publisher telling them so. Otherwise, the volume 3 listing is for the manga adaptation. The Light Novel's third volume came out back in 2019.
Whether the Web Novel is ongoing doesn't really matter if the publisher dropped releasing the Light Novel.

Welp, following your link it looks like volume 3 of the LN is still the most recent, and BookWalker has volume 1 on sale... lol.
Such timing!Publisher's website also shows only the three volumes at this time.
In an attempt to determine where the LN is in relation to the WN... it sure looks to me like the chapter titles have little continuity between the two, at least to someone who doesn't read Japanese and is relying solely upon "Is this the same string of characters?!"
So no idea how the 42 LN chapters compare to the 127 WN posts.
Just gotta say that 42 compared to 127 would tend to make one believe that it's not stalled due to being caught up with the WN...
Whoa.
The WN chapters seem awful short compared to many I've looked at in the past.
The LN chapters do appear significantly longer, based upon looking at the preview images at BookWalker.
So...
Someone who can read Japanese up to getting a handle upon where the LN falls in regard to WN contents?
The WN has really slowed down on updating; if each LN chapter was two to three WN chapters there might not actually be enough source materials for Volume 4 of the LN being complete.
I mean, at the time LN3 was released, the WN was at post 99; I'm presuming that LN3 ends a tad earlier than that, but that still indicates something like 2 WN chapters per LN chapter.
So at least 28 WN chapters per LN volume?
Hmm, even at that, one would suspect it of being two years since the WN completed a volume 4 equivalent...
Which is where it would be useful to really know how the contents lines up. -
The manga for this is good. Wonder how much more detail is in the light novels. Also interested in how much of the web novel the light novel has adapted. Would be cool to get a license.
