General Anime Discussion (what are you watching now?)

I have never watched an idol anime, and would typically have no interest in one, but Zombieland Saga is hilarious. The CG for the production scenes is awful though.
At the rate it's going, the anime pacing vs. Yen's book releases of Slime might be an interesting turtle vs. snail race.
Ms. Vampire and Merc Storia have me more interested than I was expecting too.
-
Did you guys see Crunchyroll posted the map of America with our favorite animes per-state? It's interesting...

@terrence I read the Goblin Slayer LNs 1-5 it would be fun to listen to the podcast. How do I tune in and what time?
We did the Goblin Slayer cast tonight.
Spoilers for the cast:
This podcast probably won't go up until the end of the week or beginning of next week.

@terrence thanks for the update but for the last four days I was MIA reading the first 1000 chapters of the Venerated Venomous Consort, a very good Chinese Webnovel I just couldn't stop reading after work till 2am.
Will catch up with the podcast on your website thanks again

Wanted to get some suggestions from people. After the college football season ends I'll be dropping Hulu so if you have Hulu and want to suggest some of the series/movies on there I would appreciate it. I'd like to take advantage of this while I have the chance. I'm especially curious about some of the longer stuff. I've never watched Gundam IBO since it's not part of the UC, so if I watch it then it will take up a large amount of the time over the next month and I don't know if it's worth it.
-
Lets see. While my others shows are on break, I started watching Black clover again. Also started watching Goblin slayer and That Time I got Reincarnated as a a Slime.
When the new Dragon Ball Super Broly movie drops I’ll probably watch that a couple of times as it’s shaping up to be a REALLY good movie.

What are you guys looking forward to in the Winter season?
YouTuber's list of 2019 anime with trailer clips:
https://youtu.be/LBQAvxlEnjwA more commentary based list:
https://youtu.be/jewuaW73mtkI'm definitely going to watch Kaguya-sama.
I'll try Dome x Kano and Quintessential Quintuplets too.
Shield Hero I'll check out to try and catch back up so I can read more.
Boogiepop, I need to read the novels first.
-
Shield Hero, Date A Live, and Magical Girl Spec Ops. The last one I’m not to sure about, but the idea of military magical girls sounds pretty interesting. I’ll watch Kakegurui when it shows up on Netflix. Oh, and I’ll continue Reincarnated as a Slime and SAO.
Right now it’s end-of-the-season binge time for me so I’m watching Zombieland Saga (but it just got interrupted by High Score Girl) followed by SSSS Gridman.

I started Tanaka-Kun is Always Listless. I'm up through 4 episodes.
Kind of curious if all the relationships stay friendship oriented, or if it goes anywhere (no spoilers plz). He likes to joke about his buddy being his house husband, but it seems like he's not up for that. xD
We finally have a character in Shirashi realizing the wonder of glasses! So used to character arcs involving taking glasses off / your real eyes being prettier without them (with the exception of that girl from Space Dandy, lol).
Does the anime cover the whole series, or where does it stop and the manga pick up?
Edit: The answer is no... And no official English manga release? Dang. T_T
-
I watched the Promised Neverland first episode today and I am now hooked.
(Don't read spoiler if you haven't watched it!)
Not to mention the voice acting, art, and music being on point. I recommend that anyone who hasn't read the manga already to go into the anime blind.

Wagnaria (A.K.A. "Working!)
fun / fluffy SOL with undertone of the examination of "what is normal?"
-
Me: Looks for "Yamada is done with natto" image. Realizes he lost all his pictures from his old phone. Cries. T_T
It's been a bit since I watched Wagnaria, but it was fun.

@terrence
I watched the final episode of season 3 last night. I’m happy with how it was wrapped up -
Not an anime I'm watching since it's not out yet, but i've just just stumble upon "So I'm a spider so what" anime trailer and aside from the CG not looking that good (hopefully it's label as early work), but what make me kind of worry is an other scene in the PV where just the fact that its an anime could pose a problem:
(warning, spoil even if you've read all of yenpress LN, it's quite predictable but a spoil notheless) -
I honestly don't know how much more of Kaguya-sama: Love is war I can take. Each episode is funnier than the previous one and I think I'm going to die laughing before I get to the end.
-
"Kawaiikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?" is getting a TV anime I think?

Well I'll be darned, Mushoku Tensei is getting an anime. Wonder how it will turn out. Haven't read the web novel, so I'm looking forward to the light novel from Seven Seas.
-
I'm watching most of the popular shows of this season (OPM S2, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Bokuben, Kenja no Mago). Then there's the oddity Sarazanmai. I dunno about the plot, but the weirdness of it is more than enough to keep me entertained.
I haven't tried it yet since its received a mixed reception, but I'm going to try "Fairy Gone" as well just because I found out that Ao Jyumonji (author of Grimgar) is in charge of the script and series composition.
-
Been enjoying Fruits Basket with my girlfriend.
-
@falcade You should give a try to Fairy Gone so far it's good and look promising, the CG definitly look bad at time but it's not that much of a problem since it's limited to the fairy.
