Chillin' In Another World names

I've been really enjoying Chillin' In Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers. But one gripe I've had is names. First up, Tanya. When she was introduced (Volume 6), her full name was Tanyalite. In more recent volumes (starting in Volume 10) her name has been changed to Tanyalina for some reason. And now Calsi'im's wife Tia (introduced in Volume 4) has been renamed Charun (as of Volume 12). Could you guys maybe pick a name and stick with it? Please?

@lighthawk96 I think someone in the company staff was planning on posting an explanation about Charun/Tia's name, but the gist of it is:
Her name is Charun in the Japanese ('cha' being Japanese for tea)...and since in the scene where she's given her name it's specifically mentioned that she's named after the beverage it seemed suitable to give her a name which related to 'tea' in English.
However, with the anime coming up, and given that Charun/Tia is a fairly major character, there was the concern that the name 'Tia' would be too different from the spoken audio and we had to change it to match the Japanese.
As for Tanyalina/Tanyalite, that was a simple error of misreading on my part (and I'm sorry for the confusion >-<)
Personally, I don't agree with the change and I would have kept Tia's name as it was. The
Cha(Tea)run joke would have been completely lost on me without the TL's explanation because I don't know Japanese. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
As for Tanyalite/Tanyalina, the TL confirmed it was a translation mistake (see the reply's last row).
- I've been reporting the change as an error for a few volumes and I would have appreciated if they let us know earlier, though. ๐

This is why I'm totally against the changing of names on the onset. As soon as a license or something happens, the names get changed back and then there is mass confusion. Despite the license, whatever you start with is what you should continue with in order to maintain the continuity of the story. IMO, anyway. -
@lighthawk96 In this case, the name change was appropriate for an English audience to keep the joke intact, IMO. Changing it back because the (JP) spoken audio will sound too different is what I don't get... I don't care about that kind of thing at least. ๐

@Terabyte My read is that it's less "the JP audio will sound too different" and more "the lip flaps are gonna make the EN dub tortured if they use Tia".

How many times the audios said "oni-chan/-san, etc (big /-dear brother)" and we can read the character name (surename) instead in the subs!So, doesn't really matter if in the anime they said "charun" if then the subs they can change it and keep with the initial "Tia" โฆ to match with the actual translation.
(well, not now that they are using the original name).
