@terrence That's actually a pretty good idea.

Just a reminder to everyone not to buy this on PS4.

Daiakuji and basically any other strategy/rpg style VN. (Sengoku Rance is already done by Mangagamer though :S)

Daiakuji: https://vndb.org/v298

Got my copy today, sadly I can't really get started on it because I have too many games going on right now, hope to get to it soon though.

@novurdim Thanks. I'll do my best to translate it!

Oh? I have to look into this one. I love FE and if it is really like it...
Thanks for telling!

You are definitively not the only RPG Fan here :)

So the Direct is up now.

I'm still debating if I want to listen through the whole conference since I like to stay in the dark on Visual Novel type games, but the new Uchikoshi game was announced, as well as was a trailer for another Visual Novel (?) Yu-No, and a release date for 428 Shibuya Scramble (September 4th iirc?). 428 will have a demo this Summer.

The Uchikoshi game's name is AI: The Somnium Files. It's got 3D models like Zero Time Dilemma, it's a detective game (male main character investigating murders), and it seems to have some alternate-reality / alt-dimension stuff going on in it (environment changes drastically)?

For long time Uchikoshi, Zero Escape, and Infinity fans, some spoilerific meme stuff for past Uchikoshi games that came out of the conference:

If I'll get it, definitively Eevee. Personally I don't really like Pikachu xD
It's interesting that one can connect to GO - and even transfer from it, but Its just sad that you only fight trainers and no wild pokemon - you can only catch these....
The next thing is that there are only 151 Pokémon with a few Alola forms and 1 completely new Pokémon... :/ Why not include them in the after-story?

What I really like is that your starter is on your shoulder/on top of your head. It seems that other pokemon walk around too, which is cool!
And it is possible to play together on one console! And walk around ingame :)

@Aruseus493 I think there won't be much double Battles unless there is someone you play with (it is possible to play it together)
But It would be cool to have another chance with espeon and umbreon ;)

We need to rely on the 1% of Games that are truly great now. And only 1% of that 1% is truly a masterpiece of nier perfection (yes I made a pun about Nier, specifically Nier Automata).

Alright, I've returned from PAX.

Rushed through a bit (folks I was going with were a little overwhelmed) and there honestly wasn't much I absolutely had to see this year, so I don't think I really missed much anyways besides not trying any VR.

Bumping just because... Oh mah gah, kawaii Setsuna (I may not like her personality all the time, but she was cute here). x)

Almost to the big breaking point of White Album 2 Intro Chapter. I hope the Vita version of the game has the whole Second Chapter (and that the translation guide I am using is easy to follow).

Edit: I reached the major climactic moment of Introductory Chapter. Will be uploading that as we speak.

Deviljho major content update coming March 22 - all MH content updates are free

New (well, ported from the old games) monster Deviljho comes with new weapons for all types, armor, Palico gear. New seasonal event Spring Blossom from April 5-18. Megaman collab from April 13-27 for the 8-bit Megaman Palico costume. Fan design weapon Wyvern Ignition (Greatblade) event starts April 5. Balance adjustments for all weapons except both Light and Heavy Bowguns. New free DLC: single-use character redesign ticket; more tickets can be purchased in the future as paid DLC.

@paulnamida Afaik their new translation is at least an improvement, though when I played it there were a few parts where I thought that the translation could still be better.

@terrence said in Occultic Nine Heading to More Platforms, Getting "True" Ending:

Heard some people say it sucked too, but I'm not sure if they actually played the game or were just judging the premise / the anime.

If they were talking about the ending itself, I agree it sucked. I don't think Punch Line! was entirely bad. But yeah, it was definitely very, very weird.

Man, I didn't knew about the new project. I guess they haven't teased more of it.

@terrence I low key wanna get a switch but have bills to pay lol so I can’t XD . Primary reason because I have a bad tire for my car that needs to be switched so their goes like 70-100$ :(

While I'm not a big player of Japanese games, I would prefer my games to have an English track. For DVD's I would rather have them subbed unless the dub is of exceptional quality. Cowboy Bebop or Your Name level of quality.

Heading to Barnes and Noble later to check out the manga rack (and see if there's any light novels that aren't available digitally or through my library).

I'm a little concerned about double purchasing books. I don't think I got "So I'm a Spider, so What?", but... I dunno. I know I got Rokka 3 on order from somewhere. xC

Edit: Keeping track of the books not in my state's library system.

Slumbering Beauty

Imperfect Girl (This is based on a novel? Do we have the novel? Rather read the original source)

Is this cover real? Wow. Terrible.
