Also I would recommend you get a membership on the 14th, that way you get 1 credit when you sign up and another credit on the 15th.

The credit distribution process is not automatic, at some point every 15th of the month someone in Japan wakes up and manually gives out the credit.

If you sign up too late on the 15th then you may miss the credit you would normally get on the 15th.

For those reading their premium ebooks through Kindle stuff (for me, specifically the Android app on a Nexus 6), are there any optimal settings to use in Calibre when converting to end up with as high quality of output as possible?

I tried outputting to Mobi and found some setting about not converting images to jpeg & leaving them as is (think it was with the output device a generic tablet?), they are big enough to read everything so I think it is okay but if there's options I should be using I'd like to know about them.

Also, I lost the cover somehow after emailing it to the Kindle address - is there something I'm supposed to do in Calibre to keep the cover visible in the Kindle app?

I know I can use other ereader software, I just prefer to keep everything in the same place as I'm buying my non J-Novel light novels from Amazon (after Play Books region screwed me after the first few volumes of Re:Zero & Konosuba)

If you have gmail then it usually sends to the Promotions folder.

I had a similar issue that I reported in the thread for this volume, in that the text cut off oddly at the bottom of the page. Some of your screenshots have text that was missing entirely for me.

Using a Visa prepaid card and it works perfectly fine.

@arm963 In case you are not familiar with the prepaid cards: They are cards that have no link to your bank account and have a credit limit of 0. They work exactly like debit cards, except you have to put money on the card before you can use it.

They are especially popular in Europe (Germany in particular) where credit cards aren't trusted very much, but still useful when ordering internationally or traveling. For domestic use, the bank issued cards or cash are the preferred payment methods.

There's a watching button for in every category, that is set to watching. Select ignoring and the unreads should stop. The downside is that you have to watch each thread individually and probably there won't be notifications for new threads. Seems possible to instead ignore threads one by one.

Try to re-download and if it doesn't help clear the cache then re-download, like explained here
