Ok disregard I worked out how to understand what you can and can't read. So everything is pretty much expired for online reading except for most recent volume. I was mistaken in assuming you could access all back volumes online.

This. I have attempted to request LNs through my library before. Sometimes they can get the volume in if they don't already have a copy.

We are in the process of changing how we distribute our books on Kobo for sale.
As such, we are in a half-state/limbo state where some books are on the new method, and some are on the old method.

Any books distributed on the new method will appear on the sale. Any on the old method will not.

We do plan on bringing all books from the old method to the new method in time. Unfortunately, that means some books part of our sale will not go on sale on Kobo.

Just to add onto that, the two series you mentioned are only partially available in readers tier. If you sub to that tier you'll get access to the first 3 volumes worth of parts for each series.
