@gunsablazing

The API seems to have gone down, and any functionality related with it.
Did it get overloaded by the ebooks being published today or just a regular server crash?

As the previous guy said, part 1 is a "preview" of the novel as a whole. As the final epub version of a volume is released, the prepubs eventually expire and are not available for reading anymore, with only part 1 being available to "preview" the novel.

Thank you!

@Paul-Nebeling I don't know about other series, but some volumes of Faraway Paladin have Q & As from J-novel subscribers at the end of premium editions. There might be other ones that I don't work on that have also done this.

So yes, it's been considered, and yes, it's been done. :)

its fine to download now, it seems my issue might have been trying to download it while on phone during work (in an area with s**** reception), also works fine if u DL it on pc then transfer onto your preferred platform.

@nevitash That's some functionality we don't really have at the moment (we've been putting the ebook releases on our general release calendar now, however that includes all the prepub releases too and isn't easily searchable).

In the meantime I suggest a workaround by going to amazon, searching for "J-novel club", and then ordering the results by release date.

@the-green-death said in I have a problem…:

I never have your problem, I tend to buy extra credits every month just to keep up!

Same. Though my extra credits depend on how much ot i've put in.

I will have to ask him what his account name is so I can tell you the correct information. Thank you.

@terrence I don't know, but even if they only covered to like Vol 3 it'd be pretty epic.

@paul-nebeling We automatically generate the files just for you because we care.

@paul-nebeling

go to the main J-Novel Club site

Go to the account section

Go to membership status

On the right side of the page you will see a grey box saying "premium status", and in that box it will say how many credits you have.

"Things like a less unwieldy parts selector (tried scrolling through all the Rokujouma parts? Yay)"

Oh, please!

My only suggestion is don't break whatever you're doing with the code of the text or whatever for the prepubs. External text to speech extensions working on the web page are a god send for me.

Hey James! I've heard of it but never got the time to search it up ahah, I'll do so soon though! Don't you worry!

@azsendi Just avoid any KIndle format. Amazon resizes on their ebooks every picture so it should also be resized when calibre converts.

@Mind4hire I totally understand, I was going to post something hours ago when I first saw the post but the way I was writing it seemed like it would be taken negatively. I was going to write, "easier said than done" and other stuff similar to what _08 said, but it seemed kinda worded mean so I decided to stay quiet and not offend you XD

Yes, I don't have some kind of auto-role linking setup (although I think I could theoretically program it), so just ask a mod.

Ok, so I just want to verify that all old AnimeSols stock is gone, because I just learned about Dear Brother and as a biiiiiig Rose of Versailles fan, I'm beyond sorrowed that I missed this.

@TooFiveFive This has been addressed in greater detail with this forum topic
