why it should get licensed:
a very interesting story about a mysterious man who suddenly finds himself in another world, but without any cheat or special ability, to the point where he can only even speak the language by being possessed by a spirit that translated things for him. the story feels very refreshing because what few fights there are arent as important as the very careful and nuanced interplay between characters, with the MC in particular being very adept and playing people against themselves, as the description claims -

@facelessone well, its possible that they werent able to publish anything in 2020, as so many other novels ive looked at also hadnt published anything since 2019

If something hasn’t had a new volume since 2019 and is not on hiatus for some reason it is almost certainly either finished or quietly cancelled. -

@shiroi-hane not necessarily. as i said, ive seen many light novels not have a release at all throughout 2020, and only released a volume rather recently this year; probably because of that thing that prevented lots of people from working for an entire year. as such, i have full faith that this story, too, will continue on soon enough
