Well, there's no way around it. Thus they begin their quest for alcohol, delicious food, and if possible, a faithful boyfriend.

A very interesting and funny isekai novel with slow burn romance, I found while searching for new manga. After reading the first chapters, I was immediately captivated by the story and could't stop reading. I really hope J-Novel Club can license this.

Oh, I've read both the manga and the novel and really liked it so far (like you I couldn't stop reading until the very last available chapter). It would be a great addition to the J-Novel Club novels. I would definitely buy it! Please, please license it!!!

The fan translation was really nice, I would love to read the official translation. It's such a funny and fluffy story and the love interests are interesting too.

Is a bit disappointing the last novel release was 2018 (late 2018, October).

It is listed as a "Literature" novel on Bookwalker, one of those higher prices Tankobons I think.

The author also has a new series that is similarly up to 3 volumes (and bursting with diabetes infecting cuteness it seems).

@terrence Why disappointing? As far as I know, the web novel is still ongoing and not discontinued. I’m sure a fourth light novel volume will be soon released.

@clarabelle There is this unwritten & unspoken saying in the Light Novel industry, any time a Light Novel series has a 1.5 year delay in between volumes it was silently cancelled by the publisher.

Again it is not a hard rule at all, but it is just what has been inferred with many examples provided, also the WN has no bearing on the LN

@rahul-balaggan Okay, that sounds bad, but I still hope J-Novel Club will license this. The story is really good afterall.
(But what would become of the manga adaption, if the light novel version is eventually discontinued? Would they adapt the web novel then?)

Anything can happen with mangas. Sometimes they'll just wrap up an arc and say that's it, they may consider it "complete" even (it's not unusual for some manga to have "sequels" with a new subtitle that are just the next arc).

I'm definitely not hopeless on this since it is a more literary space novel (Tankobon I think) and those can take longer to develop. But sometimes the best you can hope for is a wrap up volume when they've been on hiatus for two years or more.

I'm just a bit disappointed that it isn't a complete series and it may be in a slight limbo physical release wise (the first 3 volumes all released in 2018 I think).
