Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiaisareru
悪役令嬢は隣国の王太子に溺愛される
AkuyakuPublisher: B's-LOG Bunko (Enterbrain)
Author: Puni-chan
Illustrator: Naruse AkenoSynopsis:
Tiararose was supposed to have her engagement cancelled and then be exiled. At least, that was the ending of the Otome game she had played in her previous life. Determining that she hasn't acted cruelly, they confronts the event head on. At the climax, a new event occurs though, the Prince of the neighboring country not only comes to her defense, propose that she become his Queen instead.
Why:
Another Villainess title. This one is about the villainess not being cruel as much as being a well educated noble woman while the prince that exiles her being a touched in the head idiot that can't understand noble hierarchy in his pursuit of the Otome Game's heroine. They don't appear to be the main focus though as the story has a focus on the romance between the Villainess and the neighboring country's Prince that is head over heels for her. The overall premise is interesting and the beginning of the story is quite gripping so I'd love to read some more. The core audience would likely be females, but I'm a sucker for romance and the villainess trope has grown in popularity quite a bit. So I'd love to get this series.

I'm surprised that someone would recommend this... Not because it's no good, but that the genre (reincarnation into the villianess of otome-ge). It might not be my most favorite series of the genre, it's certainly in the top 10 for me. Very well written, but a bit too generic in terms of story progression for me.
Still, a vote up!

I became aware of this series, when my sister asked me to buy her the manga raws, which raised my interest in the novel. The art is gorgeous too, which is always a huge plus for me.xD Now I really would like to read it! I hope JNC will license this!!!

Waaahhh, what pretty art!!! And the synopsis sounds totally interesting too. I definitely want to read it! Please license this!!!
-
Just asking, but is this shoujo? If so, it would be a good suggestion for JNC Heart. Anyway, I‘m really interested in it. Especially the art is incredible beautiful!
-
@labellearabesque Yes, it's shoujo.
I've read the first couple arcs of the WN fan translation and... am not really a fan.

I LOVE this manga! I'd love to read the novels to see more insight into the characters and all. I started reading "Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom" English release and went to check the Japanese manga adaption, but it's too simplified in comparison for me (also getting an anime adaption I heard). As much as I love the manga adaption, I'd love to enjoy the light novel version as well!
