The anime was really good. One those shows that hit above it's weight class. A good feel good series. I even saw people saying that they don't like sport anime but really liked this. It would be great seeing this licensed.
While I enjoyed the anime it appears that there weren't enough ebook sales to justify a physical release. More people calling for it on the forum might help but I have no idea how well it sold as an e-book so it'd be difficult to speculate.
If you want an official take on it you would probably need to ask as part of a Q&A at a convention or announcement stream as JNC don't usually comment on specific commercial see decisions on the forums. You could also try getting the attention of Sam aka Quarkboy on Discord or Twitter or Reddit.
A way to separate "currently reading" titles from my list of favorited stuff would be nice. I'm starting to build quite the collection of favorited books, but going through them to find what I am currently reading among the titles that I have stalled, waiting on updates, or plan on reading.
This is still my most wanted title. Volume 1 was so good.
It's a fully completed series at I believe 7 volumes. Story seems like it'll do some stuff with the theme of "what does it mean to be human" due to the main character
