Shirai Eiri is one of my favorite illustrator along with VOFAN, loundraw, Yukiko Horiguchi, and Toi8.
Well, Youhei Monogatari's publisher is called Hifumi Shobo not Ichigo like in Abe, Hifumi (阿部一二三) -
This looks really dumb. Anyone know what the title is?

Bottle of one detergent. That was the beginning of me and her.
Description makes it sound more normal. Dang, I was hoping it'd be like the King of Mayo. Still, I like my slice of life relationships sometimes.
Edit: It may be Yuri. Well, that'd make it more interesting.

@terrence
Doesn't look like it has a Romaji title yet as it's a new series from Novel 0. -
@terrence Hetero pair. Your spoiler should be "Takashi" in both instances, not "Takahashi" the second time. Seems like a pretty standard romance/drama, Golden Time vibes with the memory loss. Or, well, I haven't seen "Takashi" as a girl's name before, I guess that's a possibility then?

Ah. The insert confused me because it features two women with character descriptions, and the pairing part of the book's title "Mitari-kun + Saku" is labeled above them, so I just assumed that was Mitari and Saku... But nope.

Seven Seas just licensed the manga adaptation of The Ideal Sponger Life, otherwise known as Risou no Himo Seikatsu.
Publisher: Hero Bunko
The basic premise of the series is that the protagonist moves to another world to marry a Queen and it's about him adjusting to his life as the Prince-Consort. This includes stuff like learning the necessary nobility manners, magic, and even introducing his own world's technology and cooking to a new world. The world doesn't really just suddenly explode with what he introduces though as he's only one person and doesn't know all the steps in reproducing his world's technologies like glass.

Only the manga? Sounds like a reasonable cue for JNC to have picked up the LN :v

I’m seriously getting tired of seeing those type of covers. I’ve already accepted and tolerate romance, ecchi, and harem being a part of various series, but seeing those series that emphasize the genres non-stop is really irritating me! Can JNC pick-up a series that’s a bit moderate in that regard?
-
Risou no Himo Seikatsu isn't really ecchi or harem though. Otherwise, putting the heroines on the cover is just universal for most series.
-
@aruseus493 I’ve seen the first chapter of the manga for this series, and I rest my case that I want a moderate series.
-
One chapter of a manga which doesn't accurately represent the entire LN series.
-
@aruseus493 geez, whatever, the evidence is all around us, surrounding series that’s been published recently.
-
Err, what's bothering you exactly? That the cover is an illustration of a girl with a seductive look? Or that most light novel series have a type of mildly sexual romantic possibly harem subplot?

It doesn't even represent the manga adaptation of the LN series :/ First of all, women have boobs. This is just how humans work. If you object to the presence of boobs in your reading... I dunno, I can't think of anything witty here. Yes, there's a romance aspect, since the main pair fall in love.
It's almost all about politics and how to maneuver in a society of rulers and powerful political figures. There's no harem since pretty much any other woman in the story is just trying to exploit the MC for his position, and the he refuses their advances anyway. There's no ecchi, unless you count the implication (i.e. it's not shown) of consensual sexual intercourse between consenting adults.

Who gives a flying fart about the cover, if the story is good that’s all I care about.
-
I’m just worked up at the moment, I feel like the popular series I’ve been seeing picked up each time all have the same content (I’m not judging by cover), so I just want a good story that’s different.
-
Have you read The Faraway Paladin yet? No harem antics, no fanservice, there isn't even a really heroine, just epic fantasy adventure.
-
I just found out about that manga. I'd be all for the light novel being picked up.
I had the opposite reaction to the cover. I don't think we get enough mature looking women on our light novel covers and as love interests. Most light novels are still younger Isekai leads. This one stars an office worker dude? And the female lead on the cover isn't even really that scandalous. The plot and future covers may turn out controversial, but this looks tame (I just looked at what I think are future covers, and they all look tame to me).
But I'm honestly worried about the tag for this one I saw... (spoilers)
Anyways, I can't find this novel on Bookwalker. No digital version currently released? That probably makes it harder to license? =[

There is no harem -.- dunno where you saw that tag. People like to lump in "anytime lots of girls happen to exist around the male MC" as harem I guess.
