Top 10 novel licences you wish to see in 2019

Completed stuff rather than Oneshots. What's burning me out are series I'm really enjoying just never getting additional volumes despite not being completed. Stuff like:
- Mixed Bathing in Another Dimension - No volume released in Japan since July 2017.
- Walking My Second Path in Life -No volume since December 2016.
- Amagi Brilliant Park - No volume since June 2016.
- Reborn as a Vending Machine, Now I Wander the Dungeon - No volume since February 2017.
- Strongest Gamer: Let's Play in Another World - No volume since February 2016.
- Clockwork Planet - No volume since December 2015.
- [New Life+] Young Again in Another World - On In-Definite Hiatus and low chance of ever returning to the English market even if it finishes.

I’m pretty happy with just having it go like it does currently as there are books I think I’ll like a lot (Amagi Brilliant Park) that I don’t end up liking that much and others I have no expectations for (such as Cooking with Wild Game) that I end up loving. This tells me I can’t trust my instincts in the area of Light Novel predictions.
That said I would really like Gargantia and would like to read Gundam: Unicorn, which I think would make a better book than anime.
Beyond that I’d pick by authors. I tend to follow authors more than stories. Okuda, Mikage, Urobuchi etc. are all writers who have Light Novels our is love to read.
I’d love for non-LN mystery author Higashino get more translations (I want everything he’s done to be out). More Ryu Murakami too. I’m super interested in reading Banana Yoshimoto’s essays (especially the one on the occult). There’s lots more of that stuff I want.

@bloodygaikotsu they are a mix of 4 Korean novels, 2 Chinese and 1 Japanese. I found them really good at least on par to Grimgar, Faraway Paladin and Rokka no Yuusha. None of the Korean LN are licenced, and I believe qidian only translates from the WN.
However Terror Infinity is a translation of the LN, it's available for free to read on wuxiaworld.com, I don't think it can ever be officially licenced in the west since it breaks several IPs, like resident evil, alien, the mummy, and several others movies.

Lord Marksman and the Vanadis: copy and paste the reason I want it from above. It would have the ecchi content that'd help sell it too for those that like that. Complete at 18 volumes.
That's a good one I hadn't thought of. I enjoyed the anime and would like to read more.

@renofury
wuxiaworld.com is official tho, u know. -
Yes they are, they publish their translated volumes on Kindle, However they didn't do that for Terror Infinity. I think even if it is officially licensed they would have trouble monetize it since every volume takes place in a different horror movie story. After volume 15 I noticed the translator trying to alter movie names and character names maybe they could retro-con the other volumes too. I have no inside information on their situation but I think its tough to get this released as a book.
Still it is a very recommended title if you like action mystery thrillers, and all 20+ volumes are freely available to read.

Now that Mushoku Tensei is licence, aside from Bookworm and Sevens i'm mostly happy with what we have. Most of my top is either serie which would need a miracle, individual volume or serie i would be happy if they're licence but it's not too probematic if they're not.
1 Shinsekai yori: it would be fantastique but aside from JNC picking it as a one shot type novel i don't really see it being licence and since one shot licence are kind of random it's hard to see it happend. It could be pick by Vertiacal since it's barelya LN tho
2 Anything from the nasuverse (Fate, kara no kyoukai, Tsukihime,...): it seem like they're really hard to licence, it's sad i would love to read Strange fake, as well as zero and Kara no kyoukai.
3 Nidome no Yuusha: the best revenge isekai so far.
4 Sevens: A good harem fantasy, where the harem is really a part of the story and can be a real problem at time. The setting is also quite interresting with a simple but good story. The last vol of the WN was kind of mediocre tho i hope the LN do better
5 Ascendance of a bookworm: A really good isekai where modern knowledge is usefull without making the world and his inhabitant feel stupid.
6 The faraway paladin vol6: it will likely come out one day since the serie is popular enough and being adapt into (a bad) manga. I just hope we don't have to wait for too long.
7 Kono sekai ga game da to ore dake ga shitte iru: it's a great transport into a video game word novel, where the twist is that the game is a Dark Soul like MMORPG with sadistic but terrible devlopers. The MC using bug to progress. It's mostly a good comedi.
8 Medaka box Novel: NisiOisiN novel are quite popular, so it's not totaly impossible that we get it. Well i feel like i'm more likely to won the loterie than see those translated tho.
9 Can't a great hero be jobless: Grimgar's spin off, that all there's to say about it.
10 More than 3 Volumes of "So i'm a spider so what" and "The empty box and Zeroth Maria" but once again i should likely get start on the loterie.

I see it was etched in your brain that you can't help but saying it first thing in the list lol
There's only one series that I don't know but I'm +1-ing here lol
Hopefully, we can scratch a few of them in 2019 (Especially since Babylon is getting an anime) -
hey out of all the licensing suggestions posted on the forums - anyway to see which had the most votes ?
-
@jon-mitchell Sure. Go to https://forums.j-novel.club/category/13/licensing-suggestions, then click on the Sort By button and select Votes (at the top right).

Handy! Nice to see Maoyuu is in the top 20.
I'm now up to 3 for my list:
- Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
- Lord Marksman and the Vanadis
- Campione!
-
People who mention less than 10 titles, makes me look like some greedy person...lol

Wonder if Sam will make J-novel club more like a J-novel club and we get to see more non-LNs around here but still, there is knowing how to reach to this new audience but I would love to see a publisher that publish non-LNs and accept suggestions
-
Didn't see the edit lol
I wrote like 16-20 titles then started to arrange them depending on how much I want them and shaved off the excess lolStuff that didn't make the list are like:
Tatami Galaxy
Kuuchuu Buranko
Saekano
Saya no Uta
Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
Other works by authors I mentioned above too
etc.
