Seven Seas - April 2020 survey available!

Aruseus493

@terrence
I think someone posted it under the Japanese/Romaji title.

myskaros

@aruseus493 @terrence If you're talking about Isekai Yakkyoku, then no, no one's created a topic yet.

Aruseus493

@myskaros
Oops, my bad. I mistook it with Kusuriya no Hitorigoto which had someone post a fan-translated title. I automatically associate Pharmacist with Isekai Yakkyoku.

LostBust

The June Survey is up! This time I went with these titles:
1.)Happy Sugar Life (Manga)
2.)Classroom of the Elite (Manga)
3.)Assassins Pride (Light Novel)
4.)Konjiki no Word Master (Light Novel)

myskaros

Now that we know Micromagazine won't do digital-only, gotta go begging for TSKD elsewhere D:

Manga
- Darwin's Game
- Hatsukoi Zombie
LN
- Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita
- Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu

This month, I went with:

Light Novels

Manga

Gate: Where the JSDF Fought! (Save the series from Sekai Project.)
Angel Beats! Heaven's Door (I won't let them forget.)

If anyone is going to Anime Expo, pleas ask Seven Seas about the status of their Angel Beats! Heaven's Door manga and harass Sekai Project about the Gate manga.

I'd be kind of worried about anything with a nationalistic slant after New Life +. =[

There's apparently a panel in the manga that suggests Japan hasn't in the past committed atrocities like other countries have.

Aruseus493

@terrence

I love the series regardless of any nationalistic issues honestly.

Terrence

I haven't done my June survey yet I don't believe.

I think I'll go with My Girlfriend is a Gal for the manga (we don't have that yet?).

Edit: Oh God, is the June survey still up? I gotta go go go. xD

Terrence

July survey up.

I think I got my June one in on time before they switched it.

myskaros

Definitely waiting until after AX to do the survey, would be a bit of a waste to coincidentally request something they already picked up :o

Aruseus493

@myskaros Great idea.

alocervancouver

Out of curiosity, how often does Seven Seas publish the results of the survey to what they actually license?

Aruseus493

@alocervancouver
Don't think they've ever released their results unfortunately.

Terrence

Nope, they never release any official numbers or figures, but they did mention recently that the LGBT manga they just announced was their most requested manga title.

I'm thinking their LN title at AX will also be highly requested from their polls.

Edit: I need to request Crossing Time next month for the manga.

Terrence

Whelp, time to start thinking about the Seven Seas survey now that their AX announcements are over.

It's nice to see that Seven Seas is picking up not only heavily requested LN (Mushuko Tensei and Classroom of the Elite) but also less known stuff (Division Maneuvers). So anything is really possible (though, the more popular on the survey, the better the chance surely).

I think I'm going with:

Manga:
Crossing Time

Light Novel:
World Break
Nichijou Summer Vacation (that's probably stupid when Vertical owns the Manga license though; I'll keep looking).

Aruseus493

I requested:

Light Novels

Manga

Gate: Where the JSDF Fought (Rescue from the clutches of Sekai Project)
Angel Beats! - Heaven's Door (They've pretty much dropped the series unfortunately.)

BloodyGaikotsu

LN:

Gamers! ( @Aruseus493 , with you on that till we get 7Seas to license it! lol)
Omae o Otaku ni Shiteyaru kara, Ore o Riajuu ni Shitekure!

Manga:
KakuKaku Shikajika
3-gatsu no Lion

myskaros

Same as usual, except I switched a LN pick to Koushaku Reijo.

Nico

I done the survey before AX, but none of my stuff was announced.

Manga
Encouragement of Climb
Comic Girls
LN
The Familiar of Zero
Märchen Mädchen

I'm pretty sure the month before was Shakugan no Shana. I don't usually suggest rescues, but I will occasionally for that.
