Seven Seas - April 2020 survey available!

@hyperion said in Seven Seas - November/December 2018 survey available!:
I only discovered it recently here.
Wanna believe the reason why my threads don't have many votes is that not many people haven't seen it yet lol
I have been bombarding 7seas & here with all various types of romance novels yet getting nothing tbh....
-
Updated the thread title, also updated the list of novels/manga based on novels that Seven Seas publishes (let me know if I missed any).
My picks for this month:
- Manga
- Darwin's Game
- Hatsukoi Zombie
- Light Novel
- Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter
- Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu (might as well get everyone to take a crack at Alphapolis, maybe they'll crack with enough tries!)
- Manga
-
(might as well get everyone to take a crack at Alphapolis, maybe they'll crack with enough tries!)
I & some friends have been trying--typing Gate novels name down every few months.
-
I meant more like "get all the publishers to bother Alphapolis," but yeah, good on you guys :D
-
I'm definitely suggesting "Shouraiteki ni Shindekure".
Tanaka-Kun is Listless maybe for that second manga spot. Or "I Live with My Brother's Wife" maybe.
Now to peruse that light novel wishlist (or make another "Sakurako-san" suggestion).
-
I always suggest Shinigami no Ballad, lol. Even though I know it has no chance.
-
-
Now that we've finaly get Mushoku Tensei, it's time to push for Sevens ^^
-
My picks for light novels:
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu.@sinnoaria Honestly, I don't see anyone other than Seven Seas publishing that series (if by some miracle it actually happens). It's not what currently sells, so other companies aren't gonna give it the time of day. Seven Seas could do the rest of it simply to finish what they started. That's the only reason I see anyone touching Ballad for...
-
A friendly bump and reminder to do your Seven Seas survey submissions...
I haven't submitted mine yet. xC
Maybe I'll just go for some of the new Shin Dengeki label works or something for submissions. Unnamed Memory seems like the winner of the batch.
-
The new survey is up for February...
I never submitted for the January survey. T_T

Do we know how Seven Seas uses the results?
I’ve decided to stop submitting stuff I’m interested in to them; their digital prices are too high (especially for manga). I’d rather Yen Press get a license despite the likely-slower translation. Just not sure if I’m better off doing nothing at all, or stuffing the box with licenses I don’t want. ;)

@hamsterexastris this is exactly how I feel
