I very much enjoyed the anime "Allison and Lillia", but it was obvious that the plots were suffering by being compressed into too little time, causing omissions and plot holes. I'd love to read the original LN source material. Helpfully for JNC, there are three related series, so if you start with "Allison" and it doesn't do well, you're not committed to the follow on series, but if it does do well, you have a bunch more material for that same readership.
