I’ll wait to see how the next book starts, but I’m not finding this one to be terribly engaging. :(

That felt very, very abrupt. I guess that the wheels were set in motion on the correct path, so that the kids could continue the program without the old guy around, but still… Seeming likely to continue on for a while as the business goes through ups and downs and gets challenged, then one chapter later.

But there’s also no “See you next volume” or “THE END!” messages at the end of the book. Not that I recall if there were any “next volume” or “ to be continued” messages at the end of the previous manga volumes.

Wow. He just gets to hang out with the kitties now. :)

The manga does a good job showing the almost crazed look in Lily's eyes as she starts scheming to find out if it's Chloe.

Mysterious demonic hooded figure in the jail... which is normally otherwise empty except for drunk mage guy? Hooded guy sounded like a whole former thieving/adventuring party that drunk mage ran with after leaving Bell's former party... except that the guard weren't expecting any other voices so...?

Information from the guild that a random person provided? Possibly true, but you only trust it so much because they're a nobody. Information from THE HERO? Well obviously that's completely correct, and you'd be a fool to ignore it.

She doesn't need to, but it's not a bad idea for her to learn what goes on in other areas of the business. And she may be needed to help sales in the future.

(Though I kinda wonder about their cash flows if, several months in, Ai still has so little to do. What are those salesmen doing?)
