Wow, even given a clear path forward and shown how rushing into a solution backfired, the Prince just doubles down on his foolishness.

I love that even when being confronted with the Prince's stupidity and facing arrest, Seika aims for as peaceful solution as possible until the Prince doubles down on trying to take Yifa. It's nice to see him verbally berate the Prince and finally call him out on all the shit he's done.

Lize also finally takes a stand and calls out the Prince. She even shows reason by both agreeing with Seika's requests about the Dragon and offering Yifa a gift of elementals to aid her.

I'm glad it seems we're finally done this arc. It kind of sucked that these last few chapters were spent mostly with the Prince being scummy and dragging things down.

If seekers have only one chance to open the door of truth and if there is a tendency for seekers who reach that point to take the easy way out, then the number of seekers who not only open the door of truth and survive the trial that lies beyond must be vanishingly rare.

Hmm, slight discrepancy with the LN (and anime), there were 8 students killed by Ayaka there. Akari Misono seems to have survived this time. And indeed she appears to be alive and well, next to the cheerleader on Page 10. Wonder if that'll change anything that comes next.

Poor Erika and Nina, still don't even get an illustration. At least they got named unlike in the LN. Although, there are 2 random background girls in the middle of c13 (I've spent too much time on this) who I think would kind of have to be them, because we know what every other girl in the class looks like.
Though, while looking this up I came across a still of the anime version of that scene and Nina is actually in it with Runa and Asuha, but looks nothing like the 2 girls in the manga version. I think the version I watched didn't bother to sub the on-screen text there so I missed it at the time.

I don't know how much progress people expect. He is literally staying hands off with her because by the laws he follows she is still underage. It just happens the Oni have the age of adulthood 3 years younger than the kingdom. They are literally a married couple by Oni law but he is waiting till she is of age by the kingdom law before letting anything happen.

I like that absolutely nobody thought he could legitimately win. They all were just wondering what bizarre scheme he'd come up with this time.
