I got my fanbook from amazon and it showed up alright, though I do agree you should use almost anyone else. Amazon has to be the only retailer I've seen that just stuffs books into bubble mailers instead of using a cardboard book shipper.

And this is a real pity. If I think about that books were once their core product and how good they packaged them... 1998-1999 they used a cardboard with a stretching foil so the book could not fly in the package. And then they used a package that did fit the product not a 2 meter box for something 30cm.

Sure some would say this plastic cardboard is bad for the enviroment but how much better is it if people file for a replacement because the book got damaged?

Sigh I would really prefer if they would package it like "Cross Cult" and their Manga series. No way to damage them with their tight packages. But opps we get sidetracked.

So yes you get the bonus content but not the extra stories of the fanbook as the fanbook itself is a solo book.

@jon-mitchell I think the people who would benefit from that are mostly the people who essentially follow maybe 1 or 2 series at most. If all you're here for is Bookworm for example, it may work out cheaper to just buy a bunch of credits, order the volumes so you can follow the pre-pubs and not maintain an active subscription.

I would also pretty much like to have a "invoice" / confirmation email for:

Membership activation / continuation / cancellation (when it does not automatically renews anymore) notice When Coins are purchased that includes: how much coins are purchased, for how much each coins was purchased (based on membership), and total cost When Coins are spent, to receive confirmation that a coin was actually spent and to have a general confirmation, this email should include: how many coins are spent (1 in most cases), which title it was, plus a download link (or where to download it, even if it is just https://j-novel.club/user/library)

Also, the current email that is sent out for coins purchased is just not enough, also i dont think a email like admin@j-novel.club should be used, but (like other services do it) noreply@j-novel.club or confirmation@j-novel.club

PS: it would also be nice if these email would be structured like invoice emails to be automatically displayed in something like gmail (like steam does it)

@sirjacques I was thinking the pre-pub of volume 4 was still accessible until the 15th. Though that only helps if you have already read the first three.

I'm not sure if it still happens, but it was at least historically the case that people got an immediate premium credit when they sign up in addition to the monthly credits they then received. I don't think this is repeated when you renew, but it might be what you were remembering.

The issue with "if its for my daughter" is a known bug.

Essentially, the because part 9 of volume one is free to read, it assumes that all parts are available.
It will be fixed eventually, but it isn't exactly high-priority.

I can confirm that every single part of Invaders of the Rokujouma is currently available, and marked in green.

@maralynn if you try it in incognito mode/private browsing, does it work then? If so, then you probably need to delete your cookies from j-novel.club to make it work without incognito/private.

You can't buy manga on the site with credits, all pressing the buy button does is load a window that shows retailers you can buy the volume from.
