    @Indekkusu Ah, yes, once your subscription has been cancelled, that's true.

    Maybe I'll add the status section back in for people with a cancelled sub.

    @Hyferzftw you only need to download them and then use the iCloud backup to store them in the cloud.

    That way you can delete them from your device while still keeping them in iCloud.

    That way you can re download whenever need be.

    Thanks I didn't know about this.

    I'm going to ask a yter to give a shoutout to JNC. Hopefully he does since he likes to support anything related to anime. We need to get more people to know about JNC and it's awesomeness.

    J-Novel Club is a relatively new company so don't expect that happening anytime soon. I don't know if Sam has any plans of making the translations in different languages but I doubt it. There is also the problem of translators and an actual market. The Light novel market is very tiny so I doubt any company would make any profit of making translations in other languages.

    @Damien-Wilson The problem with allowing people to use the API officially is that then there is an expectation that I won't just change something and break everyone's apps.

    There's a significant amount of infrastructure and documentation that would be required to allow such functionality without being really flakey.

    @Terrence said in Audiobooks?:

    @Thomask Kizumonogatari is exciting. Multiple voices too.

    I'm listening to a really bland Japanese Novel Audiobook in English now, Death by Water. 16 hours of a monotone man trying to slowly voice old characters talking about past events over and over again to try and write a novel + play. Doesn't help that the audio is too low on my phone (I don't like headphones). T.T

    I did get finished with a single person talking in a more monotone (not so varied at least) voice in Malice, but that I could stand that more since it was shorter and basically a recording of events in a case study on a criminal.

    Monotone can be ok, as long as the inflections are correct. I've had one or two where they were terrible. As in nearly non-existent.

    Keep in mind, I've only listened to a handful of audiobooks over the years, alot of 'self help' stuff that was more of a seminar setting, but still, when audiobooks push you to seminar stuff, you know its rough.

    I listened to a series called "Left Behind" audio drama a few years ago, now THAT was entertaining. You could close your eyes, and nearly imagine it playing out on the TV in front of you.
