This is pretty great. I like how the protagonist is pretty terrible but still not really deserving of her original fate, at least in my opinion. She was just a selfish girl who grew up into a selfish woman and she couldn't have been that instrumental in the downfall of her Empire. So seeing her have the opportunity to fix everything has great appeal. It's hilarious how she's gaining such a positive reputation while the narrative points out how petty and craven Mia is. Hey, at least she isn't actually all that malicious, right?
