@kingpendragon Yeah, I'd say they don't love each other that way currently. Rozemyne was physically incapable of it due to her youth, and Ferdinand keeps a tight lid over his feelings. At the moment, I'd say their relationship has moved to treating each other as equals. It's a situation that could very easily turn romantic, due to their casual familiarity with each other and willingness to put each other first, but neither of them are currently thinking along those lines. I doubt it'll even cross their minds until they actually meet face to face and have their mana sense kick in full force for the first time ever.

I think it’s worth noting that even if Urano-Myne has experienced puberty before, she hasn’t experienced this magical puberty, and it’s implied to be a bit different, seeing as attraction differs. Urano never cared about dealing with others enough to seemingly ever fall for someone or have someone show interest in her, so really she might be unprepared for what mana sensing will make her feel when paired with her existing concern for Ferdinand (which is the more important aspect anyway). That kind of love is a weird thing…

JNC declined to confirm Fanbook 3 when asked about it a few days or so before it started streaming so we can't read anything into a lack of an announcement.

Sam has previously said that Bookworm was one of their most popular series so of course they wanted to publish Bookworm stuff written by Miya Kazuki. As such I think it's a question of when rather than if and we won't find out until they're ready to announce something.

I'm hoping it'll be sooner rather than later but I know that in addition to contracts we also have not just the translator and editor who are busy doing a great work with the main series but also presumably the art department.

For those who want more content who haven't done so already then it is worth reading the manga. In addition to the main story there is also bonus chapters including in many cases bonus written short stories by Miya Kazuki.

@15Redstones Thank you. Now i just need Immanuel to teleport to Ehrenfest or to do something (very) stupid in the Epilogue.

US Household wiring (125v, 15amp): Black is "Hot", Green is "Ground", White is "Neutral", and if present Red is a secondary "Hot". 125v 15amp polarized plugs White is the larger prong (something I have to keep looking up...)
PC ATX internal wiring: Black is "Ground", Yellow is +12v, Blue is -12v, Red is +5v, White is -5v, Orange is +3.3v

If you fiddle with both household wiring and modding inside PCs...it's a pain keeping such things straight since they don't match up.

...and I just made a file of the above so I don't have to keep looking these things up in different sources...

When I was 11 or so, i would sometimes hold my finger on a live cable i found in our house. It was a 3 wire cable which was cut off. My finger would vibrate which was funny. I always assumed it was a cable with "not much electricity" until i one day decided to hold a piece of metal against it.
To this day, i still try to make sense of why i never got electrocuted. My current theory is that i always touched hot and ground at the same time with my finger so the electricity would immediately exit my body. Maybe the shoes i was wearing were isolating, i don't know.

When I was ten or so our second floor was remodeled, resulting in my having a much larger room.
...not all the cover plates got installed, in specific the one for the duplex outlet mounted partway up the wall where my bed was located; it was a nice location in that you could plug something in without needing to move the bed. But there were times when my fingers slipped into the gap between the outlet itself and the box housing it, resulting in that tingling sensation.

The light switch by the door was mounted upside down...eventually I grabbed a screwdriver, unfastened it, flipped it around, shoved it back in and refastened it; this being my first venture into live wiring.

Why I never brought up with my parents that not all the work was complete...I was young.

@marcus_atticus My personal theory: job interview preparation. Urano might have had many flaws that didn't let her engage that well in society, but she was able to complete college and get her dream job. Seeing how good she is at learning as Myne, I suspect that Urano did quite a bit of preparation for job interviews in the hopes of securing her dream job on the first try. In P1V1, her understanding of the underlying pitfalls and challenges in the Benno/Otto job interview, combined with her negotiation to maintain her strategic assets, seem to link back to this. My theory is that she utilizes this base of knowledge to start learning how to barter like a merchant.

For the longest time, G-book was the go-to shorthand. However, I would like to advocate for switching to M-book from this point forward. We now know that "Grutrissheit" is actually the spell for summoning the book of Mestinoria. It also appears that this book is blank until filled with knowledge from Mestinoria's book. Hence why it should be called the M-book.

There's nothing on TO Book's site about a volume 12, maybe the poster got it confused with the announcement of Fanbook 8.

On New Year's TO bought a whole page newspaper advert where they outlined their plans. I will not link it since it contains the cover of every volume up to and including P5V10 but to summarise what's important:

    Spring
    Part 5 Volume 11 (Book 32)
    Drama CD9
    Winter
    Fanbook 8
    Part 5 Volume 12 (Book 33)
    Drama CD10
    and...
    Short Story Collection 3
    Spin-off Sequel

Also, currently voting is ongoing for the fourth character poll (which I will not link since it spoils the cover of Fanbook 8) and after voting it mentions that P5V12 is scheduled for December 2023.

    I have three theories.

the gods, simply gift mana, according to their whim. the gods, put manna into the earth, and being exposed to those elements, meant that humans imbibed it. Additionally, being born on a certain day, or at a certain time that was more mana rich could affect your memory capacity maybe.. (my most developed theory) Mana was the gods gift to everyone and some random people simply had a sort of "genetic mutation" that increases their amount of mana. Because one could use mana to intimidate mana-poor people, family lines were set up to breed for this increased mana mutation. Eventually the culture became so structured on mana capacity and the families that were bred for it slowly distanced themselves from those poor in mana that the communication between the two groups would diminish and the knowledge of the random occurrence of a mana-rich mutation would be forgotten. And at this point, the trade-secretes that noble families have collected to even further increase, their mana would likely mean that their bred mana-rich capacity would be more than your average mana-rich genetic mutation among the poor population. But there's no way to know because the social stratification basically weeds out the poor people with the devouring (aka the mana-rich mutation) because they will never have access to magic tools and will always die off, keeping the current noble families firmly established (and inbred).

@TheGrimLich I must admit that the ages of both are not confirmed yet I think, so for me it´s more how different they feel to Rozemyne that creates their ages in my mind.

With some thought: (spoiler cause of irrelevance to the topic)

@staylo67 Rozemyne just doesn't make sense according to normal noble common sense. She works insanely hard because she was taught that she'd need to work hard to be accepted as a noble despite being a commoner, and by P5V3 still thinks that she could be discarded. She kinda overshot the goal and works so hard that to everyone else it looks like she's trying to prove that she's better than Wilfried.

Is Stenluke technically the child of Rozemyne and Ferdinand? He was given life (birthed?) When Rozemyne mixed mana with Ferdinand into the blade.
And like Gedulah giving Mestionora to Schutzaria’s protection, Rozemyne granted Stenluke to Angelica.

@kuali I mean, they technically did try but ultimately failed to at least eliminate her when they attacked her family villa in the Sovereignty. But even setting that aside for a moment, the impression I've generally had is that proximity to the royal image isn't much more than a fig leaf, and a very small/thin one at that, for everyone involved. Whoever wins will spout whatever amount of rhetoric and propaganda they feel necessary to justify why their figurehead is legitimate, but how genuinely legitimate said figurehead is matters only to the extent that anyone else has the military strength to challenge that legitimacy. Beyond that, everything is just window dressing. To that end, if Eglantine were to be used as some sort of figurehead by Werkestock, I would expect Werkestock to have already won on the "merit" of their military strength, with Eglantine's lineage having little if any impact on the actual conflict that happened beforehand.

Wilfried acted up in a scheme to avoid political marriage as decided by his parents.

Maybe he and Hannelore can find common ground there, as she betrayed her duchy to decide her future as well, during the bride taking ditter.

@zwabbit A fair point, it would be a rather stifling match. Honestly, Wilfried's biggest problem is that he isn't cut out to be an ADC. It is almost ironic that the dude was born with so much, but is inherently unsuitible for the role he was born into.

@mufloon Maybe it might work out, I don't know. I just would rather Hannelore hook up with somebody who can bring out the best in her, not require her to support him. Of course, we also have no idea what their end career states will be. Wilfried almost certainly won't be an archduke, and Hannelore likely isn't in contention in Dunkelfelger, so politically the match likely won't work either.

Wrong topic, this should be “worst ships,” not “funniest ships.”

Is that a shipping warning? :D

Oh Seven I hope Frau doesn't get her own ship with a horn...

Surprised Roz hasn't added a train horn onto lessy - unless she doesn't know how they work? I mean, in Dahlia they would just have wind crystals, but I imagine a wind-type magic circle could substitute for the compressor. Train horns aren't built like whistles though, so it is possible something like a french horn or trumpet would be easier for Roz to visualize?
