Needless to say, I am now feeling quite emotional.

I enjoyed the start of idol but after Maori died the pacing just was too hectic, it felt like a PowerPoint presentation of Mika's life journey. I wonder how much is self delusions in regards to getting alien fans and the. blowing up their planet.

I found that the anime was really confusing back when it first released and that reading the light novel even with its differences to be really helpful in cleaning up some issues with understanding. I'd definitely recommend reading the light novel.

Thanks for info! I'll look it up after I'm done with Gunota. That is a good one too (translation seems approximate though), and unlike Renya, protagonist actually has an interest for relationships and embraces his harem (or at least the #1 girl). Look it up.

Interesting. Maybe I'll grab Einherjar and stay up to date instead of waiting for a catch-up month. Hmm.

Elf Bride is about the only one I'm pretty sure I will like so that's gonna be first in my list. Have to check out Werewolf and Amagi ones to see if they actually appeal to me, but those two are only other titles from the new licenses that sound remotely interesting to me.

I honestly wasn't expecting the translation to be coming out so soon. Glad to have my prediction shot down.

Going to be interesting reading things properly translated after getting used to the web versions. So I just thought I'd share some things that stood out to me. NOTE there WILL be spoilers, so don't look if you want to go in fresh.

Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of shop talk that I couldn't fully understand with my level of Japanese, so it'll be nice to get a concrete idea on what was being discussed, rather than bits and pieces.

I'm also wondering how the English translation will handle the waka/baka-sama thing a couple of characters have going on.

I started by reading the other catch up novel. Was greatly disappointed.

Thank goodness this was the other choice. I liked almost all of it.

@hyferzftw Also delays when the translator focused on a different series (Little Apocalypse and Demon were both paused for Occultic Nine)

@legitpancake The toon is chasing him, and he slams the door shut in her face. The chase comes to a sudden and abrupt end.

Much like the end of BSB.

@awhale Definitely was curious, don't want to miss out on an image after all xD I love all of the artwork in the various things I read here. Easy enough to miss a line like that here and there I imagine and a lot better I think to accidentally leave in a tag that doesn't belong like that than to have a missing image.

I do prefer digital these days because it's getting too crowded here and there's no shelves left really. But I think I'd probably make an exception for the two, both light novel and manga.

@rahul-balaggan I can't wait 😵 . Since Realist Hero won't be getting volume 5 for a while Grimgar jumped up back to being my favorite series in JNC.

@devarsh-bhatt I wouldn't take the j-novel categories as being all-inclusive. Smartphone isn't listed as being harem, but is certainly is.
